    This seems like a tactic by Adobe to intimidate Apple. Apple know that their macs are paperweights without the likes of Photoshop and Acrobat, so they are saying to Apple "Don't make good applications". Duh.

    I think the Linux community should stop trying to emulate the bloat of XP. What are they smoking? The point of Linux is to be alternative. And if the alternative is the same, looks the same, and takes the same amount of memory to run. Then whats the point? Arg.

    I don't know. Over a broadband connection, it's better quality than a telephone line. And with broadband becoming more and more an option (for which we can thank p2p), VoIP would be worth reconsidering.

    BSD is not dying, in fact it is making more of a comeback today than ever before. It now has applications in the desktop world. Lots of people see Linux distributions as too bloated or too mainstream these days, for them BSD is the obvious choice.

    Tat can't be right. Personally, I always use tm structures. The indication of years they use starts at 1900. int tm_year // years since 1900 So this year is 103. Where does that 1970 crap come from?
