    What really stops such behavior is different limits per user and the case that the operating system supports it.

    One thing doesn't exclude the other.

    And both Linux and Minix has their merits, but Linux has one big advantage and that is that it has so many drivers that it did overtake Windows a while ago. You may find cases where you miss a driver for Linux for your pet device but it's starting to get unusual unless it's a very new device.

    Linux was the new "cool" thing, and it also lacked some annoying BSD-isms that were really a pain in the butt for the SystemV people - even if those weren't in any way critical to the functionality.

    And Minix at the time was also under a license that limited it's spreading so when Linux came along with a "free copy for everyone" style it was almost like Stallman's wet dream realized.

    It is not a tax to see public channels it's a license fee to own and use a TV receiver.

    This also exists in other European countries like Sweden.

    You should have some other documents too that aren't illegal but sensitive. (Company secrets or private data like an address book)

    And have two hidden volumes in case they wonder you can have one filled with legal MILF porn or something in a way that makes it look like you are keeping it out of sight for a spouse (real or potential).

    The worst risk with a scooter is that someone will be stealing parts from it, not the whole vehicle. A fat lock and chain around a lamp post is preventing the thieves to walk away with it but it won't stop them from stripping it naked.

    In some places the EULA:s may not be valid due to consumer laws. At least if you purchase as a private person. If you purchase as a company the EULA:s may still be valid.

    Maybe you should have the Federal Fiscal Court make a review of every person involved in GEMA to see if they actually are circumventing the tax laws in some way. It could be a bomb waiting to blow there.

    And the reality is that innovation is done even with limited funding.
    The big problem is that today when you have innovation in the US there's always a risk of encountering one or more patent trolls which costs a lot of energy to fight.
    Sometimes one might wonder if the cheapest alternative is to hire Hells Angels or a similar organization to take care of any patent trolls on the way.

    If they offer an alternative that doesn't screw over it's customers with braindead phones and stupid agreements then they will draw customers.

    The US telecom market lacks real competition and is instead bound on trying to lock in customers to their services.

    And also the Russian RD180 closed loop engines which are designed to also use the energy driving the pumps for propulsion which means that they are more efficient.

    The usual method from the cops - take a car that looks like the car of a suspect and track it. And it's a nice trick if you are up to something bad - keep track of some random person and have your car look like their car and then evade the cops always where they live and the cops may be misled to someone else and start tracking them.

    If you are innocent and get tracked it's likely to be some kind of F-up that has occurred. But going to Mexico these days isn't the best of ideas considering the drug trade going on.

    The real reason may be that today people are stuck in education for decades before getting out in the real world and it takes a few years of reality before they can cobble together all the information and through intuition provide a good idea.

    Not that education is bad, but sometimes it may be too much.

    It also depends on in which field that the person is doing the work.
