    The best way to identify a real human these days is to look at traffic where ads are blocked.

    People that do "stupid" things where they are aware of the risks and only risk themselves also have the chance of doing great things.

    Be it the first Atlantic crossing or leaving Africa doesn't matter. Humanity need to move on and discover outside the planet to survive in the long run.

    Yes, but also question why they want to do it in the first time.

    On the other hand - imagine how fun it would be to hack that system and inject a lot of weird data. "90% of the kids using this toy loves Stalin."

    That's a good cause, so it means that laser printer toner in various colors would also be ok. And it's harder to get rid of than glitter.

    If the copyright owners were to utilize the same business model - serve movies/shows on YouTube and link to a Patreon account then they would probably render the piracy less interesting.

    It's sometimes a gray area if a place is secret or not. But using the map would also be a good way to reveal what's supposed to be secret but isn't known that it's revealed.

    If you as a map provider want to play it nice then you just replace items that are specific for that location with generic vehicles or generic trees copied from another part of the same area. Just keep the roads and buildings as is and nobody would be wiser.

    What it tells me today is that Microsoft has actually lost a lot of knowledge and that they are basically re-skinning their stuff when they realize that they don't know how to fix it.

    Also look at the quite "interesting" problems that appears each time Windows 10 gets an update. It makes me even less inclined to "upgrade" from Windows 7.

    Another advantage is that the pager don't have a transmitter which means that it don't cause interference to EKG and EEG equipment.

    Some services also see it as an advantage to have a pager since the person having it can't be tracked. This is essential for military personnel and special operations personnel of other kinds.

    But if it's streaming, then the ads may come from a different server and then it can be blocked or replaced with another stream that you select.

    But pause ads would just cause people to stop watching completely and surf the net or do something else.
