It's not a question of switching, it's adding another tool to the toolbox. No matter if it's Perl, C++, C, C#, Java, Classic Basic (Yes, some solutions are out there using that still), Cobol, Bash, Makefiles etc...

Often a project consists of not a single language but three or four at the same time considering the need to automate builds and testings and wrapping the software.

Not the same thing in all airports, some airports requires everyone to go through security checks. And if you fly a private plane you will have to wait for your slot.

You will have to consider the process of travel to/from the airport as well, Stockholm/Arlanda is quite a distance from central Stockholm, then a lot of time is wasted before boarding and then on the airfield to get into position to take off. Both Arlanda and Helsinki sees quite a bit of traffic so it's not as simple as you make it.

You easily waste an hour before boarding just on procedures like check-in, security and walking.

  9. Nobody has told me why it is going to be built. Considering the sorry state of rail infrastructure in Sweden it's not really going to provide much benefits.

JBoss and the peer implementations will probably be the future of Java EE. The fact that Oracle drops it just means that they drop their control over the solution and the worst that can happen is that the various implementations will diverge unless the companies developing the solution put in a joint venture to coordinate the APIs.

Both universes have their place and as a viewer I can appreciate both. In Star Trek it's rarely a black and white situation that's encountered.

If anything it might be time for the people that want to do their own movies to look into starting on some fresh perspective - or scan through the Science Fiction literature for stories that can be used for movies. There's a huge pile to dig into, like E.E. Smiths Lensman series, Jack Vances Demon Princes, Heinlein, Asimov and so on...

Don't let the opinion that controls one franchise limit you - be creative with something completely different. I wouldn't mind a Sci Fi movie where you have a man with a kilt showing up. (Some of you may get the reference)
