SquirrelMail supports Japanese, only if you use Japanese translation and php supports mbstring. You won't be able to use Japanese translation, if php does not have mbstring support.
utf-8 support works only if you use utf-8 translation or if your utf-8 symbols does not contain four bytes or more.
You forgot infected machines that are not in your control.
1. They are infected and they increase load of your email server and increase traffic. You are lucky if your provider does not charge for traffic.
2. They are infected, but are sending emails to the wrong addresses. Bounces get back to your server, increase load of your email server, increase traffic and end up in your mailboxes. Bounces are not caught by your virus scanner. Users will call you again within several hours, because somebody says that "they have send the virus".
3. Due to possible false positives, you keep caught message in quarantine. What is your current quarantine size?
4. If you inform sender about caught emails, how much mess is in your server email queue?
You don't administer bigger server, if any info about this worm does not drive you nuts.
Rubbish. Slackware can be used perfectly well on an extended-lifetime basis, and so can Debian.
Have you tried upgrading Slackware?
Yes, there is swaret.
No, it does not have same life time as apt.
No, it is not included in base install.
No, it does not support big list of mirrors.
No, you can't use it with Slackware 8.0 or older.
-Dselect needs to be sent to/dev/null. The debian installer was never the problem. It isn't harder than slackware, but dselect really, really sucks.
Nope, it does not suck.:)
It is just not newbie friendly.
-Re-do the stable, testing and unstable package list: they should only contain base, critical packages. So i want to run the latest kde with my stable setup?
It does not revolutionise the world, but abitity to check email with cell phone is nice thing that I don't want to loose. Especially when phone does not cost much and provider charges only fixed monthly fee for WAP via GPRS.
Why run Squirrel Mail over any of the other free/free webmail applications out there (sqWebMail, IMP, etc)?
SqWebMail is minimalistic webmail client. It is fast and can be used to check your email when you are out of office, but it does not have features, that make good email program. pgp and low footprint are the only advantages.
You can't compare SqWebMail and SquirrelMail. You don't compare bike and tractor. If you use both of them, you won't even try to compare them.
IMP vs SquirrelMail. I am not using IMP v3 and can't say anything about it. I suspect that SquirrelMail will win with its plugins and user options. Plus, SquirrelMail can be installed in 10 minutes and does not need backend SQL support.
IMP has ability to use POP3. SquirrelMail requires backend IMAP server.

I started using it here about 6 months ago, it is the only way to go. I cannot imagine using Windows Update as an enterprise solution. One or two PCs at home sure, but SUS is free dammit.
1. equal rights for every user
2. p2p program can be installed on another computer within a few minutes and you will have to block one more sucker.
run internet search for "asteroid" and names, that you are suggesting.
Vesta, Juno, Diana are asteroids.
list of some gods
P.S. There is bunch of satelites too.

how many ports you are have to block?
It takes only one open port to break all your blocks.
1. It is small.
2. It is cheaper that rackmount.
Have you tried to get a demo/trial version?
I have tried three times with different email addresses. Still don't have it. Only two emails from crossover about end of evaluation period.

I think this is a price of two original dual cpu rackmountable servers or two barebone quads.
