Forgive my ignorance, but..
If 2.5.x has been in development for a while and 2.6 is supposedly going to be released soon, how does a 2.4.x change work in that sense?
Will 2.5.x automatically get this change, or do they have to duplicate those changes in all descendant kernels?
If Linux dominated the desktop market and was on some 95% of computers (or whatever MS is currently at), there would be just as many viruses and other headaches.
Experience is *almost always* better than education.
I have 7 years experience as a programmer and NO degree and I make an excellent living. On top of that, I'm YOUNG (22).
Never ever had a problem finding a job even when the economy was low and everyone else was havin a hard time. If I wasn't perfectly content where I was right now, I could EASILY quit my current job today and go elsewhere and make more.
Why? Experience. I know quite a few others in the same position as myself too.
People look at experience vs. degree a LOT more than you'd think.
Although, there are cheaper methods if your primary goal is to copy games..
I'm sure you all know how ridiculously easy it is to mod a PS1, even for someone with NO prior soldering experience;) Plus the chip's only like $5 nowadays.
It just baffles me how and why people sit back and allow this to happen.
People *ARE* this stupid, too. They will grab their ankles and allow MS to charge for updates. Where else does MS get this nerve to even so much let a whisper out of an idiotic idea such as this?
Give me a break. You can't charge for updates. You can't ask someone to pay for something that didn't work in the first place.
No sense in complaining about it though if no one's gonna do anything.
Welcome to this idiotic world.

I let the chimps out of the zoo, destroyed them too. Now I see the light.

$200 to crack *a* $30 game?

No.
$200 to crack *many* $30 games.
Although, there are cheaper methods if your primary goal is to copy games..

Darth Vader is really Luke Skywalker's father!
