I never demanded proof. I'm not even arguing. My original post didn't call anything into question at all.
You fellas, on the other hand, are apparently itching to get someone going. I'll just keep up with my style, because it's fun watching you guys stumble over each other.
It's not "common fucking sense" as you so blithely attempt to assert. Anyone who says that has pretty much run out of steam, I've found.
I'm so sorry you had to back up what you said, even though this reads more like a press release than anything useful. Thanks for trying, though. I'll be sure to ignore your opinions from here on out.
Allow me to get this straight - you tell me what my psychology is, then you ask me to explain myself in a way that fits that notion? Are you actually serious?
The human mind is not entirely logical. Nor am I, in the aggregate. I simply believe, through a lifetime of experience, that religious belief is lunacy. Whether or not that's my own personal lunacy isn't really something I care about.
This is the games section. Every assertion is backed with a personal guarantee, which is backed with all manner of anecdotes. If you want fancy numbers that hold up to scrutiny, get yourself over to the science section.
Yeah, but generally speculation that's devoid of logic (and yes, I mean yours) can be dismissed out of hand.
Well, to be fair, we can assume Rockstar is staffed entirely with people who have no idea how to make games. Then your idea makes sense. Kind of flies in the face of history though.
The problem is not that nobody can profit. The problem is that people who had nothing invested in the creation get to profit obscenely because they don't have to put any work into it.
The fact that you can identify sectors which (in your opinion, I should note) "pander" to what people want (what a sin!) doesn't indicate that it holds true across the entire industry.
Yes, we all know the one button trackpads are the last bastion of the one button defenders in the Mac world, now that Apple has caved and added extra buttons on their Mighty Mouse. One of these days, they may even make a human interface device made to work with human hands instead of impressing human eyes, not that I'm holding my breath.
It's called a joke. You may hear a few of these on this "slashdot" website
The important thing to note is that the "jokes" often lack humor, so recognizing them becomes a terrifying ordeal of memorizing the groupthink prejudices.
And yet so many people play it. Naturally, they're sheep, right? Of course, the massive amount of people supporting the PS2 were not sheep but thinking individuals who recognized superiority, right?
What I don't understand is why you guys bother with Slashdot, of all places. Your techniques would be much more effective on a board populated by dipshits. There are too many free thinking people here to fall for your tricks, as they are old and transparent. Just some friendly information for you.
Was there anything about the draw rate anywhere that I can read? I remember reading about the flying being taken out, but the reason I read was completely different.

Consider it to be my equivalent to a religious belief.
It may be wrong for me to say I'm clearly superior to a monkey, but dammit, I'm saying it anyway.
Not exactly.
No, actually, it demands no response at all.
Just tape balloons to people in strategic spots, I guess.
Funny, when I plugged mine in it acted like a four button mouse with a scroll nub. Maybe I have a different kind of Mac.
Belief in any god pretty much qualifies you as a lunatic. You guys just like spreading your lunacy around a little.
It should tell you something, noticing that even nerds have no patience for anime.

60 hour work weeks are the norm? I must have missed that memo.

It's sorta like eating at steakhouses on the dividends from your McDonald's stock.
Good argument, very coherent in defense of your cause. I can see why the world lines up behind you guys.
And becoming a net pundit requires a heartbeat and a working finger.
I hear that argument a lot, but over long trips, increases in speed produce significant savings in travel time.
And yet so many people play it. Naturally, they're sheep, right? Of course, the massive amount of people supporting the PS2 were not sheep but thinking individuals who recognized superiority, right?

If they're no longer useful, why do so many people use them?
Bonus points for avoiding any reference to sheep in your reply.
