At my workplace, we're using HP-OVO. We have 300+ HP-UX, 200+ Windows and 50-odd Linux servers. It is highly customizable and allows you to set up what all to monitor, the time slots within which to ignore them, etc etc etc. You basically have to install SPIs (Smart Plug-Ins) for each of the parts you wanna monitor (OS, DB, hardware, custom applications...)
And yes, it can also be configured to alert you via email/SMS.
However, at the same time, said people are admitting in court that they downloaded (or attempted to download) media for which they didn't hold the copyright.
How about downloading the illegal content, being infected and THEN going out to purchase just that one piece of music/media? Would they care to check the receipts to see if the work was bought before or after the download?
If I were in your shoes, I'd use some black tape and stick it carefully onto a part of the camcorder's viewfinder. This way, you can film in the max widescreen resolution it supports, then run it thru filters that give you the resolution you need.
At the end, you won't lose details in your movie 'cos you saw only what you wanted; NOT what was being filmed!
Data loss can be further reduced by having a 'catcher' wearing a customised outfit, so as to minimise the sudden impact on the disk. Something like a sumo wrestler wearing baseball gloves
SMART used to have Mercedes-designed engines under the hood and Swatch bodies. Since some time now, they seem to have shifted to Mitsubushi. The new smart ForFour is based on the Mitsubishi Colt platform.
you can have multiple networks on multiple channels in the same geographic area
But this would mean having redundant access points. If you run, say 8 channels in the same area, you'll have 8 times the number of access points - one per channel.
Does anyone know of industrial-use access points that can be visible on multiple channels simultaneously? This would be a very interesting solution for setups that require different access levels for different types of users.
I was genuinely wondering if there's a way for the e-voting machine manufacturers to reveal the exact code that was used on the physical voting machines. This could put to sleep quite a bit of the often-unpleasant debating going around all over the world (apart from/., of course).
I was curious to know if non-Americans can donate as well. As for all of us who're not in the US, we feel that mankind as a whole stands to pay the price for Bush's reelection.
Therefore, number_of_words{do, not} = 2
I have not found any equation which proves that 2 == 1
Just my two cents at being a prick ;)
Microsoft Works

And what would you do if you were the some guy in India?!

Or maybe not...

...now IE is as secure as Firefox by design
You know what I am going to say...
At this point I'd like to point out that the PCs are not actual IBMs, but HPs. Yet, we all call them 'IBMs'.

101 Gbps = 12.62 GBps
I'm not wanting to be a troll here, but after having read all of these comments, I am now beginning to see how Dubya became the Prez once again.
Talk about ignorance...

And you haven't seen the price of rice, curry and lentils in the US.
I'm sure you're very perdu (french for 'lost') when it comes to spelling Purdue!

Correct me if I'm wrong - isn't the bandwidth over wireless shared by the users connected to a particular access point?
Say, if AP1 (100 Mb/s connection) has 10 users, each one gets 10 Mb/s. But if 20 users were to connect, won't each one get 5 Mb/s?

Isn't IPv6 gonna solve this problem too?
*sees karma walking away...*
I like the concept of a display I can tote myself without fear of a hernia, or more likely, dropping the damn thing
What do you do for a living - lug around plasma/LCD screens?! And if you're really scared of dropping the screen, change jobs!
*my karma walks away from me...*
Wake up, master!
44kg != 44 pounds. 44kg = 97 pounds; 44 pounds = roughly 20 kg.

44kg is still quite heavy
