Unless you are running a custom kernel you probably don't have the sysfs interface to turn on the 2nd core reliably. I think most manufacturers are using a userspace daemon to control when the 2nd core will come online.

I was thinking the same. Most of the fields that are to be exposed have well known regular expressions that could be used to remove them from the comments en masse. The hard part I would think would be the addresses, but I may not be thinking of something.

  6. Re:We Need Less Planning and More Coding on The Rise and Rise of IT Administrators · · Score: 1

Enterprise Planning is a good thing. It is a framework to map a complicated system to its various components to make it simpler to see how one thing relies on another. Just "coding" without knowing a direction will not work in complicated systems. This brings about the case of the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. Also just coding usually brings about disparate data sources. Data leads to information, and information leads to information analysis to allow business decisions. With just coding, it makes it harder to get information the business needs, and that's the job of a Enterprise Reource Planner, to make sure that everything is interacting optimally for the business.

For the most part my bank was working great in mozilla, but they introduced a way of viewing your checks online. Unfortunately this did not work under mozilla, so I emailed the tech support for the web page, and to my surprise a few weeks later, they had emailed me back and they had fixed it. I am very grateful for Huntington National Bank supporting mozilla.

I have a lian-li pc68 USB. This case is just perfect for modding. I put a window in with ease with my dremel, and cut some holes on top with my holesaws with ease. One hole is where I lead to an airtrap I built for my watercooling system, and the other is for the fan wires on my radiator and pump power cord to go in and out of the case. This case is great for mounting your pump too. I took out the drive bay for 3.5" hds, and mounted my pump where it was. This case rules!

Please, Please, children, lets think of something constructive to say. Half these FUD statements said on slashdot from time to time, just really gets me pissed off. If you have ever even configured a server (which I doubt), you would know that Linux and other similair OS's are the ultimate in protection these days for servers. If you were a somewhat decent security minded person, you would realize the pain of setting up a compilicated program such as a server and you can't see the code. Most of the time, with 10's of thousands of code, there WILL be a bug in the source, and when you find it or get attacked, I want to see you fix it on a proprietary Windows server. Tell me how long these fixes come out. With the aid of marketing fools, and people in control of the company just thinking of the bottom dollar, instead of the customer, you might not see a decent patch for months. With the servers that are popular on Unix variant OS's being OpenSource, and the most widely used on the planet, you can see why not too many people like to use Windows. I know you have probably heard these arguments before, and have a witty or snide (mostly snide) remark for my comment, it doesn't really matter. I have seen that most people on this earth are stupid, and will never see the truths to be evident based on the personal biases, you all fucking suck!
