In more expensive systems, GPS receiver part is separate from navigation system which generally more modular.

When one member country says they have warrants for joe smith, Interpol simply distributes the warrant and information to all other members nations. As long as hardware manf continue to put Google Services on their phones and not HORRIBLY screw up the experience, Google could care less about TouchWiz/Sense/Motoblur. They will start to care when users start to leave Android and point to poor user experience as reason for doing so. That doesn't appear to be happening looking at market share numbers.

I think that they made it better at resource usage, but then probably made it much worse by bundling in crap like MSN status updates and probably facebook integration by now too.
It's actually been really simplified. Instant Messaging is handled by seperate product called Lync (If you are staying Microsoft). Exchange is simply Email/Calendar/Contacts/Notes/Tasks. Facebook intergration is Outlook driven and Exchange server doesn't do any of that for client.
If they replaced Exchange with a straightforward mail server like Dovecot, they'd handle a hundred times those users with ease. Sure, they wouldn't have an integrated calendar... but which of those users uses the exchange calendar anyway, using some preferred iOS or Google calendar.

Not to mention ActiveSync has basic security features like... remote wiping of devices and forcing passwords. While this is feature of iCloud as well, it allows IT to wipe any iOS device instead of hunting down iCloud password, logging in and then ordering it to remote wipe.
This problem is easily fixable with more hardware/licenses, deploy additional CAS servers to handle the load.

The only confirmed anything I've seen is someone can BSOD the computer. Which while a bug, not Remote Code Execute, just Denial of Service attack.
Since this problem only exists in Safari, either Chrome/IE/Firefox are sanitizing those inputs to prevent that from reaching Windows kernel.
Furthermore, since this x64 bug only, my guess is this issue was patched in 32 but for some reason, WOW64 isn't seeing it or catching it.
