Why would the US put money into a project that doesn't have anything to do with Enhancing Nuclear Weapons [couldn't find the link to the story, sorry].
aim+ & deadaim - both remove the ads from the official aim client. i have found that i like dead aim better (but it isn't free, a measily $4 or something like that) than aim+.
I think it's really time to dump *all* nuclear weapons and nuclear weapon research. Nuclear weapons are the worst thing that has happened to modern 'war fare', it's tragic.
What I don't get is, why make a weapon that will not only 'hurt' the country it is being dropped on - but the whole world?
Who gives a shit? China's got missle ready to fire at US forces (and at the US). It's only a matter of time *shrugs* No wonder most laptops are pieces of shit. They all hate us.
(almost) Everyone is complaining about 'racial profiling' and all of that shit. Do you want to know what I think is wrong? Frisking 60 year old white women at the airport, frisking 8 year old black kids at the airport. Are 60 year old women terrorists? Are 8 year old black kids terrorists? Why not 'guess' a little at who the 'real' terrorists are and most likely get the 'man' (or men) you're looking for. It makes sense to me.
I'm not racist, don't get me wrong.. I love everyone, I'd rather feel safe in an airplane if they didn't frisk all the wrong people to keep the 'Middle Eastern Human Rights Groups' pleased.
Hey coward, the reason (I thought) he wanted encryption was to "stop" spammers. I agree sending passwords plaintext is pretty idiotic, but so is encrypting protocols to stop spammers.
While "everyone" is out rewriting the SMTP protocol, why don't we rewrite FTP and POP3 while we're at it?
I love the FCC.

3) A way of destination server contacting the originating server and verifying the e-mail it received is from an authorized and stated e-mail account. That would be new, too, and would be a bit more complicated, but still fairly simple.
Theory: A spammer could simply spoof being another mail server and thus, verifying emails to spam.
4) While you're at it, you might as well encrypt the whole frigging process.
Theory: If you encrypt the whole process, the algorithm is going to widely used, yes? Who's to say a spammer couldn't use the algorithm and send spam. It wouldn't work.
My two cents.
I think it would be a lot more appealing to actually touch these 'real world hyperlinks' with my finger and have them appear on my pda/phone. It's almost like clicking (wink).
I guess I/we have to wait til radio chips get small enough (and batteries too) to fit in your pointer. Or, well, I guess you could wear some kind of special glove - but that kills the whole "point".

Thank Matt Drudge. I'm a lazy motherfucker.
Fuck, should have posted as anonymous. In other news, you should all be scared.

"5SOG" - I like that. I hope (in the future), that becomes apart of everday 'tech jargon'.
'Finding Information 101' -- GOOGLE. There are too many people that still haven't figured out how to use Google.
Where do they get the names for the 'geography' of Mars? Sounds like something out of a "gangsta's dictionary".
Is it just me, or does the damn thing look ugly? I personally wouldn't sport that 'thing' in my car.
that's cool, now it's THEM stealing from the artists. hypocrites.

Finger prints are the answer. *ponders* If only I had 99% of 18 year old thumbs.
