    Why will it? From what I remember that is why dos/Win3.1/Win9x was purchased for home use. Because alot of people was using it at work. So the logic there is not a 100%.

    Alot of 15 years old are arrogant and posturing because they are 15 years old. Now the things you are speaking about is very common when ever they is a great social shift in ideals the younger generation get caught up in the shift. This is nothing new the 15 of this generation will be saying the same thing of the 15 years old of the next.

    First thier wonderful security(rot 13) was been "hack". Now thier that format carries viruses but I guess the effect will not be that bad since it only effects acrobat not acrobat reader. Maybe it is time for a new format well I guess we will see if someone cooks one up :). Have fun

    Proper training make someone a expert in any given field. Now yes there is more information available. Yes kids have more time than most people. But alot of them do not have the maturity to handle the information that is given to them. In the future this will be a problem more and more parents will have to deal with. But parents have been dealing with thier kids thinking they know more than them all the time.

    Without keeping backwards compatablity with NT 4.0
    and Windows 2000. Of course they could always supply "patches" for NT 4.0 and W2k that will "allow" them to use the new password protocol. But my favorite solution is to host the project in a country were patents do not matter. Let's say Russia.

    Well yes they are but also they realize that they can not ignore Linux/Unix any more it is just getting to big for them to contain (well they could never really contain the movement it in the first place) if they want their .NET platform to be accepted they have to getting working on as many platform as possible so people can start using it. They are really helping themselves to reach a bigger market.

    Becomes used on an everyday bases it is harder to get people to move. Getting people to move over to unicode will take alot of work but as more and more programs are using unicode then this will not be as much as an issue as it was before. It will take education of programers and of the users in order to make this work.

    1) Get a petition going online to ask the companies to start making them

    2) Submit a business plan to a few venture capatalist that will help fund a business that manufactor and distribute them

    It is hard to get people to change. I know with Broadband it alot more than just getting people to change the way they do things. Avialibity is a big issue. But once something become so widely used it is always hard for people to change what they are doing.

    These have distinct culture references. Are they property of the overall culture. Can they stop other cultures from borrowing ideas from them. What about the cultures that they came before them? They borrow ideas from them. So do they really own thier own culture if it was derived from another?. My only question is were would it stop.
