I've got one of those network enabled Q-See DVR's...the 4 camera version... and I've been trying to use it with a wireless bridge. However, I swear I can't find DHCP on the thing...anyone have experience with Q-See DVR's or getting their other brands wireless?
"According to Intel marketing materials, the Xserve RAID uses Intel's IOP 331 chip, a derivative of the XScale processor. The IOP chip, which is used in many storage systems, is designed to speed the task of shuttling data in and out of a computer system."
but yes, for its primary processing power, it may be switched to Intel although I wouldn't count on it..the G5's are probably going to be the last to switch as they're still pretty competitive..
Yes! I thought of that right away. It's really a fantastic sci-fi anime, great even if you're not really into anime. Funny how the themes in it are present in the real world - political and debris
Archos has had these kinds of portable media players out for at least a year now..with no drm, and recording from video sources to mpeg4 or divx I believe. Definitely something fishy in that blog
Damn, that musta been on the Engineering tour..I accidentally got in the regular and had some frat jock who just gawked when i said computer science, wireless, and segway
I've been thinking, why not a website that lists independent artists' music only, to let people know of an alternative? See, I don't want to just stop listening to music. But I want to listen to music by artists that aren't under the RIAA. Anyone know of such a site, or have any plans to put one together?
that sounds great, I would definitely be interested in any site like that...they should however, include a music tastes thing where people could say what indie bands were like riaa bands...on another note, does the money paid for used cds go to the riaa or not?
'I am sorry for what I have done. I love music and don't want to hurt the artists I love.
that disgusts me because I know she wouldn't really say that...c'mon, 12 year olds arent idiots...
but, I can see why they would want to charge IMs like trillian, because they charge for their full featured client...I think the OSS IMs should combine and buy only 1 license and say since they're all open, they are all sharing it
truly some beautiful comments by mr linux himself...glad to see he's not taking them seriously until they decide to get serious and show the code! Altho, its kinda funny that some of the code they claim is theirs has been written by Linus' close contacts and even himself...
if we OSS'd the old BeOS, or the obscure other OS'es out there right now, it would quickly flower into a powerhouse.
Look alive people, this project is already rolling! www.openbeos.net and www.beunited.org!
BeOS shall return!
I don't know...if my buffer was overflowed with 1025 beers, I might not care about the pink....
then again I might not care about much at all at that point
Cheers!

of course! Books! Who would've thought of that before the 70s?
Here I am reading slashdot for the third time tonight, managing to avoid starting my homework for the past two hours...damn youuuu
