You know I'm not really sure why it still amazes me that there are people like this that have an utter lack of a sense of humor, but for some reason it still does.
I don't think MS ever really thought they were going to make a lot of money on their current system. I believe their plan all along was to just get a footing in the console market so that they could have a chance at making money with their next offering. Whether that actually happens or not who knows?
But this idea that MS can't afford to keep losing money on Xbox is a little ridiculous. They have $40 billion in cash. With that kind of liquidity they can afford to keep losing money for a very long time. Mind you, I don't necessarily think that is a good idea.
