I would agree with his approach as long as they teach evolution in church. You know, just to have a philosophical discussion. Like, "There's no scientific proof that God exists", "How can you believe in such BS when millions of kids are dying and being abused." If the church goers are open to that then I don't see why we cannot have a similar discussion in schools about creationism.
I guess the person who posted this has a very simplistic approach to the question he poses.
With the same logic we can ask does making cars go faster make them more prone to accidents?
Well, an uneducated answer would be a strong yes?
But when you consider the fact that there are tons of other factors that play into an accident, it becomes obvious that relating one cause (ease o use) to a result (level of vulnerability) is not so easy.
since we are looking into every single line that runs into houses to bring internet to homes, are water lines going to be next?
How about pulsating water like morse code to transmit data, or better salinate it so that it can carry electricity?

I was a cable customer (TCI, ATT, COMCAST) for three years and after switching to directv I can easily say that the quality of the picture, service, user interface on satellite are much better than cable.
In 2 years that I've had satellite, I've had no more than 1 hour of interruption. And I should add that I live in seattle, which means rain, rain rain and more rain on top of cloud covered skys.
The user interface is much faster than cable and better organized.
Especially tivo option with directv is the best investment you can make.
