Yeah, and for PC, in a really strange move from Konami. Maybe they had some problem with Sony and this was a way hitting them, menacing with a lower sell of the PS3.
Well, and to say the truth, is just that the XBox didn't even crossed my mind. I know nobody that has or even want one.
The other day, a friend of mine was offered an used XBox for about 100 bucks, and maybe he will but it for its superior capabilities as divx player compared to the PS2 that he has, because us four talking couldn't think of an XBox game that we would want to play.
Go get Winning Eleven 9 if is avaliable for your platform, or platforms, of choice. But, please, play it with a PlayStation pad.
Most of the games in the list, but a couple, are fine games... but the list is clearly made by an american, because is incredible that they left out the Best video game. Just the Best: the Winning Eleven/Pro Evolution Soccer series.
When I was young, I played Wolfenstein so much... I spent hour after hour playing, I played so much one evening I reached a secret passage with a text like "If you've reached here, call Apogee Software" (Or was it Id yet?). Well: I think those soccer games are better than wolfenstein.
Every PS2 I know, about ten, has been bought just because back in the day there was the rumour that Konami was going to launch the next WE/PES games only for PS2! And exactly the same with the PS3. Real people don't think "dude, the PS3 will have a zillion CPU's working in a cluster" but "dude, the next WE/PES is only for PS3".
Battle Arena Toshinden: a virtua fighter rip-off, not bad.
Ridge Racer: never played, looked like a million others racing games.
Jumping Flash!: never heard of this.
Resident Evil: absolute crap, unplayable for me, I've never liked the way you "control" the dummy in these games. Yes, Alone in the dark was waaay better.
Tomb Raider: bad, but at least it had a better control.
Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain: Soul reaver, it's sequel was a lot better.
Crash Bandicoot: fun to play, all of them.
Final Fantasy VII: the best of the series by far.
Parappa the Rapper: WTF? Only if you're a lil' girl.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night: if the word "Cool" has a picture in your dictionary, it probably is a screen capture of this game.
Metal Gear Solid: really good. A hit.
Gran Turismo: probably the best cars game of the PS1.
For we that don't have a clue what DTrace is, here's what the has to say: DTrace allows to do performance tuning with applications and troubleshoot production systems--all with little or no performance impact. DTrace provides improved visibility into kernel and application activity, giving the user operational insights with which they can make performance gains..
The no performance penalty sounds really cool to me.

Why don't the editors have a "Check" button, just like us have a "Preview", that performs a search in the database looking for the keywords, or the title, or even if the same urls has been mentioned earlier?
Yes, I also forgot to say that that the PS3 will use Blu-ray. Don't know in the USA, but here in Europe, and in Japan, it's a huge point for that format.
Alone in the dark... such a great game! I didn't play versions two and three (they needed a 486!), but the first was really, really good.

Ten minutes aho I didn't know how this man was, so I checked it and this is the result: it looks like he is a german film director somewhat specialized in games-based movies.
His latest seems to be Alone in the dark (scoring an incredibly low 2.2 out of 10)... it has to be real crap to score that low, it's very strange for a movie to be under the 5 in imdb!
Althought really obsolete, WinZip is extremely popular with uneducated computers users.
I, for one... recommend these alternatives: winrar and winace, wich are vastly superiors in performance, but shareware, and 7-Zip wich has good perfomance with a poor interface, but it's free.
I was thinking about posting something about binary patches to alleviate the use of bandwidth, when I read this on the kernel web: Apr 9, 2005: Both the new servers are now in full production use. Each is connected to a separate ISC gigabit link. Enjoy!...
