  1. If the patch is there on Microsoft to Offer Patches to U.S. Govt. First · · Score: 0

If they are able to take one month less to produce a patch for important vulnerabilities, it's great!
Why not make it available for all ?

For important stuff: the sooner, the better, no ?

The game you quote tried to inform children about diabetes. It would have been the same about drugs, HIV, whatever...
You can't really have fun with serious subjects...

The real game about diabete would have been to master syringe, precision shot, difficult fillings, perfect timings, etc. ...

We don't need games to educate, for that, the school system exists...
We need games to have fun, and if the fun help you to improve you reflex, your memory, your capacity to recognize things, then it is great...

And just think at all the thing you learn playing Civ :)

You say it was a Huge scandal, but why the only source you have to propose is an anti-french one ?
Do you really think Europe was against the war because of some French money ?

But, if you are right, France was against the war because it wins a lot of money from petrol... and the USA went in Iraq to take the oil money for them.

In this perspective, it makes more sense...
And there are a lot of sources pretending that the USA went in Iraq for Oil and not for Liberty/WMD/you name it...

Some people are doing an awful lot of money from this war... It is the truth (see the recent problem with Halliburton)

Therefore, we have the right to ask :
"Why are our children dying there ?"

    Where is the troll ?
Nothing to argue, nothing to discuss.

    Iraq wasn't behing 9/11

This war is a mistake, but not for everyone.

With the development of automatic code generation, middleware and so on, the number of coder will fall in a near future. Trying to reduce offshoring is just a way to gain time. Remember the beginning of the modern era, when labor worker where replaced by machines... but there are still manual worker, they are doing "haute couture" and earn a lot of money. Now, it is the same thing with software. But, maybe we are all wrong, maybe there ain't enough job for us all, not enough place, not enough ressources... Want to drive a SUV ? Eat super maxi menu ? We can't go on like this, it is time to slow down, relax and live a better life. The more is not always the best.
