    Problem her is that as the prices for space flights go down, the opertunety will be available to terrorists also. So regulations should be ther, but what do you do when a russian spaceship has been highjacked caus they had no regulations.

    I can't se any problemst implementing this for linux or symbian mobiles. The spreading of the software would probably be a problem, but it is likeley that it will be distibuted at some spot withc will grow when ppl tell their friends or word spread on campus. Sooner or later theese seperated nods will merge, and you have a large network :) So RIAA whanted filesharing off internet, well I gues theyr geting what they paied for :p

    This is a plain dumb article. Those recomandations are made on what films or items ppl tend to be intrested in at all times, and is most likely not wery related to content!!! Is google rasit if it mixes results about monkeys and black?

    Freedom of speech gives someone the right to spread their word, or in this case their porn. I dos not give you the right to hear/watch it. You'r not even alowed to spred porn any way you whant, spred your own live porn in the park and I'm quite surtain you can take that freedom of speech and shuf it up your ********.

    Besides this is nothing speshal to china. I live in a democratic european contry, and porn was considered ilegal up until about a month or so ago.

    I use kmail as my main mail client, it's realy nice but it lacs 2 features.

    1. Imap filtering. Realy anoying to not beeing able to filter mail on my imap accounts. I dont belive outlook dos this to well either, but it works like a charm in evoulution.
    2. Html in signatures. It's no problemt to get ppl to accept that I get more work done on my linux box than if I have to fight xp. It's hard to explain why I can't use the standard mail setup(template) that evry one else uses.

    I could ofcourse use evolution that has both those features, but kmail feals wery smoth to work with...

    I sincerely doubt that the general /. reader dos not know of the alternatives. Actually I'd bet most of us has made up our minds and are more than willing to engage in a flame war to show our view.

    But lets face it:
    Windows vs Linux is like my butt! Its divided, and no mater how shity one side thinks the other is, it's not getting rid of it. :p

    It might be stupid, but it a hell of a lot easyer to tell your boss your gona use ajax for a project then telling him that your gona use a javascript that talks to whatewer backend which returs the neded data as xml which the javascript then can use to dynamicly update the page.

    I'm afraid you can not asume that just becaus it's a com/net/org site, it is us based. Many other conties use gTLD domains to. Her atleast, there is probably registered about 1 gTLD for evry 4 cTLD :p Even if you find that the server is in the us, you cant be sure it's a us site since many european companys rent webspace in the us. A split would most surtenly result in those sites coming home.

    I belive hovever, that susch a split is WERY unlikely to be betveen europe and the us, but there are other contries more likely to set up thei own system.....

    I'd like to anser the nvidia thing even tho I'm not an american. I just switched my pasivly cooled ati card for an nvidia crad caus they're giving me desent drivers for linux :p ATI is better than they where, but fact is that nothing played and my screen flikered in 3d like nothing I have ever seen before :/ I'm happy now.

    And that phone nice, over priced, but stil nice :)

    I've seen test sugesting the danger is not the cellphone at all, it's the fact that yhe driver loses consentration while talking. Same as driver losing consentration while talking to someone siting in the car, therefore, that should be ilegal to... right? :p
