They release CD Keys in large batches every 6 hours ago. They have more, they're just not giving them out for a while. Don't ask me why.
Fileplanet is the devil. Blizz made a mistake pairing up with them, but the Blizzard Downloader I'm using at the moment isn't much better.
The real, FREE, open beta starts in a week or two, after this final stress test. I'm not sure how they plan on distributing clients/CD Keys/Accounts for it, but chances are it will be a long and frustrating affair.
There are many, many, many garden variety quests in WoW. Often you'll have a particular area full of, say, Kobold miners. Wandering around the nearby town and farms you'll find a quest to kill 10 Kobold Miners, a quest to collect gold dust that drops from them, a quest to collect candles that drop from them, a quest to explore the mine, and a quest to kill a named mob that spawns in the back of the zone.... and you can complete all four at once, and turn them all in for rewards and about 5% of a level worth of xp each, not counting the xp from kills.
You'll never have to spend an hour waiting for the named you need for your quest to spawn. Any mob related to a quest is either on a 5 minute spawn timer or in an instance. Mok'rash in Stranglethorn is on a 30 second timer, I think. =/
I am a solo player, for the most part, and have gotten to level 60 that way. I rarely group for quests outside of instanced dungeons, and then it's only with guildmates or people I know. However, it's quite possible to get a group for any quest anywhere and complete it in half the time, if you're willing to share xp and loot.
I'm hardly a casual player, but I do regularly find I have a half hour of free time and can log on and feel like I accomplished before I have to log off.
I'm not sure where I found this, maybe it was an old/. article. Either way, a quick google search found it again.

Also, my iBook's been dropped a couple times, yanked off the desk by it's power cord, etc. No data loss or anything. My Compaq laptop took one little fall and the LCD screen broke and the hard drive was damaged.
hey, don't get me wrong, I'm a die-hard mac user, but the.mac services just aren't worth it. $100 for a wimpy little email and website and a few other bells and whistles is a little steep when I'm not quite sure how I'm going to pay for tuition next semester.
My little brother's name is Zack, so we quite inadvertently stumbled across "I'm not Zack, I'm Zack!" or something like that. We had to wait until I played through the game with the characters default names to understand what was going on in that one part.
... when a new squaresoft game is announced. So many people believe that square is incapable of making decent games anymore, only to be proven wrong (in my opinion) when new games comes out. I just got one peice of advice for ya'll... wait until you've played a game before you talk shit about it.

I'm also on a 12" iBook, and it did the same thing with the monitor colors. After I read your post I went and checked system prefs, and there it was at thousands. I didn't even notice the difference. I wonder why it did that?
I've got a beige G3 266 (overclocked to 300 Mhz) on OS 10.2.6. It has 352 MB of RAM, and runs just fine. I use Photoshop Elements 2.0 on it all the time (Photoshop 7 is a bit much for the poor thing) and regularly have 5 or more apps open and running all at once. Safari, Mail, iChat, etc.
The only thing I really have to warn you about is the hell I had to go through to install 10.0 when it first came out. Apparently it had some problem with having RAM sticks of different speeds, so I had to open it up and pull out all but my 256 stick, install the OS, and then plug the sticks back in. All of the OS upgrades since have gone without a hitch.

And the games look like crap, but that's a minor point. (well the Biosfear one looked pretty good.)

It wasn't worth my money before, and it's not worth my money now. Sorry, apple.
Yes, and he's obviously having a damn good time analyzing it. I enjoyed reading it.
