I have created a Wiki only search that I am hoping will evolve to include a lot of wiki sites. The search is open to volunteers wishing to add wiki sites and I will be monitoring submissions. I feel this will give a great fact finding resource and a quick and easy ability to find pages with information that go into a much greater depth than Wikipedia currently does.
I should point out that the $200m mark is a rumor and Kamins, the representative for Peter Jackson and Fran stated:
"The only budget the filmmakers ever spoke about was $145 million less the 12.5% rebate that you get from shooting in New Zealand, which would put it at about $128 million. That was the only number that was ever discussed."
For more details I suggest heading to http://halomovie.trivialbeing.net/ where they have a video/news broadcast and some footage of Jackson's response.
As an aside, they quote: "Microsoft is already in talks with other distribution partners and preparation for the movie will continue. Most of this development is at Peter Jackson's Weta effects studios in New Zealand, so delays should be small."
BBC has something about robotic footballers;

"UK Hosts First National Robot Football Championship"

These are completely autonomous devices that play against each other. They come in teams developed by various british universities.
Go Warwick!
Slashdot seems to be a little slow on the up take for this. I had these images up on 14th. http://eva.trivialbeing.net/index.php?c=images
(thanks for the links to my site folks).
Anyway the point: A couple of extra images are available there now including a strange scan from one of the japanese issues of Newtype depicting a brown-eva-angel figure and an image of Unit 02 firing at an unknown target.
(I hope to be providing a torrent of various large files for people to download in the near future containing wonderful things from the DVD. If I can ever get it sorted.)

This all gives me a buzz. I think I am quite sad. Maybe pathetic is a better word.
Masked Vandalism ahoy!
