I don't get it. Where is the lack of validating user input? Why would you filter out foo/var../../../../etc/hosts or whatever? Is there a rule that says that relative path names aren't allowed in archives and archives can only be extracted to subdirectories? Aren't archives supposed to work like they are currently and allow files to be overwritten?
Apple also said that MacOS Mojave would combat a technique called "fingerprinting", in which advertisers try to track users who delete their cookies. The method involves identifying computers by the fonts and plug-ins installed among other configuration details. To counter this, Apple will present web pages with less details about the computer. "As a result your Mac will look more like everyone else's Mac, and it will be dramatically more difficult for data companies to uniquely identify your device," Mr Federighi explained.
I hate to break it to you: humans cannot live anywhere but Earth. There is no planet suitable within range that would support human life. And don't say "Mars", because that is scifi BS. Just the radiation and differences in gravity would kill humans very quickly. You guys need to grow and take care of this planet, because it is the only one we will ever have.
No, the smart move is to not invest in a company that has an infinitely negative P/E ratio and is $10 billion in debt and tons of competition. Tesla has a high valuation because people are stupid. Its stock is worth about $0.
Tesla is $10 BILLION in debt. Teslas credit rating is a B3 which is SIX levels below investment grade. That means it is paying huge amount of interest. It has a very good chance of going bankrupt.
Give me a break. People don't invest based on Slashdot stories. TSLA stock is down 15% in the past year, and the NASDAQ is up 20%. But at least you get those sweet TSLA dividends!
...it must be the "shorts" that are paying for all this bad Tesla publicity. There is no problem with Tesla, even though they haven't hit any production targets and are burning through billions of dollars. TSLA is a very sound investment. It definitely is worth a $50B market cap!
Doesn't matter. You guys PAID the former owners as a reward for that behavior, so you are responsible too. You guys totally lost the trust of the community and you won't be getting it back. You guys should have let it die rather than giving money to the scum.
Exactly. Who ever thought Republicans were free market capitalists? They are Corporatists, not Capitalists. I mean the politicians and the members of the Party of course, not the voters. Republican voters are just dumb.
I think the "exploit" is that you can have a file in there with a path like ../../etc/blah and they will go outside of your "empty directory".

It would transfer taxpayer money to the corporation that builds, installs, and maintains the system.

There are. You know what the best selling electric car is? It isn't a Tesla.

What does that have to do with Tesla? GM and Ford are in a different league in terms of revenues. I wouldn't invest in GM or Ford either.
That is the best thing: it HAS no IP. None. There is nothing magical about a Tesla vs any other electric car. There is no secret sauce.
"Investing its profits into massive growth". What profits??? Tesla has NO PROFITS.

But you paid the company that was doing that to get the website. So you are responsible for encouraging that behavior.

You probably live in a poor country (like Eastern Europe). Scammers are going to target wealthy countries.

Why do you reply to yourself. We know you are greenwow. The whole Seattle/Microsoft thing is a dead giveaway.
As an added bonus it needs to be reprogrammed ("have its own agent") to play each different game. Genius!
Yeah, a racist South African. How original.
Didn't think of that. Maybe it was part of the latest firmware update that fixed the braking problem.
Speaking of self-driving cars: another Tesla autopilot crash today: https://twitter.com/LBPD_PIO_4...
Hit a parked police SUV. Keep on beta testing your stuff, Tesla. Don't forget to complain about the "shorts".
Fuel is nearly free. Immortal lifetime. So delusional.
