    I don't get it. The age of consent in Nevada is 16. Why would they need to be above 18? I get that the guy was creepy but is hitting on people at conferences illegal?

    What are you talking about? A phone is a location tracking device. It has to be in order for it to work with cellular networks. If you don't want people to track you, why do you carry one around with you?

    100% correct. I don't know why people think that security and networks go together. The entire point of networks is to share with EVERYONE on the network. That was part of the design. Security is a concept that was tacked on later.

    Gifts can simply be food or wine or something like that. Most sensible adults give those type of gifts when giving to other adults.

    Playing Go is not AI. Here is how computers were able to win at Go: a bunch of people sat down and wrote software to teach a computer how to play Go. It isn't magic. It is software. It isn't intelligent either. It was a single purpose program running on a computer playing a game with a strict rule set. Computers are GREAT at that.

    This is because what the hypesters are calling "AI" is just computers running software. And computers are dumb and so is software. It has been this way since the computer was invented and will continue this way unless there is some magical leap in computing.

    Exactly. Who writes these summaries? It makes no sense. There are two routes and the they get summed and the rider pays for both? I guess they are using a fake GPS app to fool the Uber app, but who the hell knows.
