  2. Andy Rubin is one of the biggest names in tech. This is essentially the downfall of Essential. It won't survive this.

  3. Exactly. It is not a surprise that a lot of these "leaders" are psychopaths forcing themselves on normal people.

  4. Great for managers and office drones creating yet another Powerpoint document explaining why sales are off by 10%. Welcome to the future of computing.

  7. What is that? No idea. Ain't America.

  8. Exactly. Why don't people see this coming? The Internet 2.0 is going to only allow "approved" devices to connect and only allow certain activities.

The public sector guy probably does it during at the same time he is supposed to be working on his "public service" job.

  15. "Engineer" means some automated way because we can't bother to curate the BS we are spewing out as it would cut into our money counting time.

  16. Yeah, but in the real world public sector jobs make as much as private sector PLUS they have better benefits and pension.

  17. But the guy they quoted in the article already had a public sector job. Sounds like he was doing it on the side, probably because "public sector" means "I don't need to work much and have a lot of free time".

  18. Yep. We all know that Instacart is the only employer in the US.
