    Really, is everyone here nuts? This is common behavior in advertising. It isn't illegal. There is no law saying you have to market housing equally to all races. You just CAN'T SPECIFY PREFERENCE IN THE MARKETING ITSELF.

    Some of it is cost. Windows + Office is EXPENSIVE. Since digital computers aren't increasing in power much, and won't ever be now that Moores Law is dead, now is the time for Linux to "catch up".

    That doesn't matter at all. The vast majority of people don't buy electronics based on the hardware. The Surface is DOA. They are on version 4 and LITERALLY no one is buying them. Even the NFL doesn't want them, and they are getting $100 of millions to use them.
