What was wrong with it is you aren't likely going to click on a video for an advertisement. I'm not sure why people aren't grasping this concept. Everyone should be using adblock at this point, and flashcontrol or whatever extension stops videos from autoplaying.
I once heard one guy say "Granted, OEMs and carriers are probably blocking those from getting to 99% of peoples' phones, but that's not Google's fault." He was admitting that 99% of peoples phones weren't getting updates.
Just keep on pumping out those new versions, Google. No need to support old hardware. They can just throw their 3 year old hardware in the trash. Very Earth friendly. And no need to port security fixes over either. Android owners know their phones are all "pwned" anyway.
....the digital revolution is coming to and end. Moores Law has ended already and as a corollary the processing power of digital computers will be incremental. This is a big deal, because it throws future developments into doubt. Will we ever be able to handle the ever increasing processor needs of applications? A lot of people are depending on seemingly infinite processing power to get real AI. Is this ever going to be possible? It seems unlikely since we are seeing only processor improvements of 30% per generation at this point. Eventually those improvements are going to be even less as we hit the physical limitations of producing digital logic gates at ever smaller sizes. Too bad, but it was nice while it lasted!
You are kidding, right? You don't realize these systems already exist? This isn't the security cameras you see at 7/11s. You can do this with a $200 camera system.
Things make money due to marketing. That is the cruel truth. Popular music and TV and movies are popular because of marketing. Most popular movies are pure crap, including all the Marvel movies. But due to marketing people spend billions to see them. So any scheme that doesn't include marketing isn't going to work.
It is comical to think that IT departments can "pick and choose" which patches to install. They aren't qualified to know which are important or not. I know a lot of corporate IT does this: they select only selected patches that they have supposedly "tested".
Christ you are stupid. The "automation chain"? What does that have to do with "automated" vehicles. Actually go to Engineering school sonny and learn what is possible with hard work and stop watching so much scifi.
What is automated about a grocery store? Are you talking about self-checkouts? That is an easy problem to solve. It is just a bar code scanner. Self-driving cars is much much harder. Go try picking raspberries with a machine. Even that is much much simpler than self-driving cars.
Go ahead. It won't happen. And no they aren't "here". We have 90% solutions which always require a driver to be present. You are one of those "tech is going to always get better". Guess what? It won't necessarily. It isn't magic.
Picking ears of corn is easy. You just twist and pull. We still hand pick many fruits and some vegetables. Give me a break. Everyone has starry eyes, but it ain't gonna happen.
There will never be anything like "self driving cars". What a bunch of crap. Why do people keep going on and on about autonomous cars? It isn't going to happen. Let me guess: these "self driving cars" will have drivers in them.
"the space agency signed a $2.5 billion services contract with HP Enterprise Services in 2011"
Someone hired HP to do work?
Yes, it is inconceivable to anyone who knows basic Physics. Just because X is possible doesn't make Y possible.

"Womenbang". Go look it up on Google (preferably at work).
"Everywhere" in Korean is not "manbang". Where do these journalists come up with this crap?
I don't get it. Why wouldn't you just get the Internet-only package? You don't have to get cable TV.
I once heard one guy say "Granted, OEMs and carriers are probably blocking those from getting to 99% of peoples' phones, but that's not Google's fault." He was admitting that 99% of peoples phones weren't getting updates.
I got that from you: "Granted, OEMs and carriers are probably blocking those from getting to 99% of peoples' phones,". Duh.
Of course not! Why would it be Googles fault that 99% of people are now running pwned phones? After all they have nothing to do with Android.
Sure they do! Sure they do!
Just keep on pumping out those new versions, Google. No need to support old hardware. They can just throw their 3 year old hardware in the trash. Very Earth friendly. And no need to port security fixes over either. Android owners know their phones are all "pwned" anyway.
I think Intel has been dancing Swan Lake for quite a while now. There haven't been much in raw processor improvements for several years.

I think it is like Emacs without the editor part.

No it won't. What they have now is the 90% solution: driver assist. It is the last 10% that is the hard part.
Picking ears of corn is easy. You just twist and pull. We still hand pick many fruits and some vegetables. Give me a break. Everyone has starry eyes, but it ain't gonna happen.
No you don't "see them all the time". You might see a Google one once and a while, but they all have drivers and are in carefully mapped areas.

Don't use a real phone number. Just get one from Google Voice, etc.
