    Water should come out of your faucet. Some US cities have already banned or taxed single use plastic shopping bags. If you could develop biodegradable plastic that really worked you would make trillions.

  3. Latency and bandwidth will be much better than HughesNet. The SpaceX satellites are only about 1300km up, compared to HughesNet of 35000km up.

  4. You will be singing a different tune when we are living on Mars, sipping wine while we travel in the Hyperloop in our autonomous Tesla EVs, powered by SolarCity panels, on our way to worship at the Church of Musk which recently was valued at over $10 trillion.

    You are right. But I trust him. He wouldn't create a startup and try to mislead potential investors. It would be against the ethics he learned at Uber.

    These driverless cars have drivers in them which handle all that (plus the driving part if it is too tricky).

    ...as any "self driving" claim. Give it up people, it doesn't work. People 5 years from now will laugh at all these companies and wonder how they got funded in the first place.

  16. No. They will just get the data from your wireless provider.

  17. Duh, they know your previous locations and use that as fallback. They also know your IP address. Your network provider always knows your location and might sell that data to advertisers as well. Your phone IS a location tracking device. It has to be in order to work properly.

  20. It isn't 15GB max. Think of the 15GB as your free usage. You only have to pay a small fee (per GB) if you exceed your free usage amount.

  21. You are thinking phones. They are thinking fixed point wireless and virtual networks.

  22. Google got bored with Fiber. Too much trouble. I am pretty sure what ATT is selling here though is fixed point 5G to replace people with cable/DSL connections. You would only need one hotspot per household.

  23. 5G rollout is going to go quickly. There are way too many revenue opportunities to exploit with its feature set.

    I still think the old Star Wars special effects are a TON better than the new ones. Probably because they were carefully built and filmed models and not just CGI effects thrown together overseas in an animation factory.
