How is it "not true"? It says "Pacific Northwest", not "Seattle". I don't know what you mean by "literally builds" a lot of US solar and wind infrastructure. That certainly isn't true. Most wind turbines not made in the US and none are from Seattle. You are really full of yourself.
No, they are the same. Apple, Google, Microsoft, Tesla, Facebook, etc. They have a single goal. It is just amazing to me that people believe otherwise, but I guess that is the way it is. By the way: "Do no evil" was ALWAYS a joke. You just found out that it wasn't. But Google always knew it was.
The problem is that the goal is to get Tesla rich, nothing else. There is no other mission. If they could make a lot more money creating coal-powered cars they would do it. The only green these companies see is money. Google figured out they could make a lot of money selling our data, and even more selling out the Chinese. So they did it. American corporations are not your buddy or benevolent. The fact that they even have "mission statements" is completely dishonest.
No that is not the "mission" that the rank-and-file are talking about. You are missing my point completely. My point is that the sole purpose of these tech companies are to make money. Nothing more. The worship of Google/Tesla/etc. are astounding, but there is a large intersection of tech and money right now so a lot of people are completely besotted with them. I see that unraveling very soon as people start seeing these companies for what they really are: just American corporations out to make a buck.
That's great: they are making a product they think they can make billions on. That isn't surprising. The surprising thing is that a lot of people believe that there is some "mission" above that. Tesla found a set of people to market to. There isn't anything beyond that.
It really isn't surprising. I mean look at Tesla. The rank and file really believe in a "mission" that is beyond making billions for the board members. It is rather astonishing, but I guess when you worship technology you find your saviours there.
How would you deliver a massive automated drilling rig? Is there an automated drilling rig on Earth that requires no people and no maintenance? If not, why not?
Wait, why is this needed? You guys assured me that colonizing Mars is not only possible, but within the reach of current technology. How would you know that unless you already did all the necessary research?
...I was assured by Space Nutters on here that all we needed to do to live on Mars is to dig up the soil to get to ice and build caves. It should be easy to dig on Mars. Please explain. They must not have been doing it right. We need Musk to get up there and show them how to do it and get the first Mars factories up and running.
That is because his "predictions" are for things that have already happened. For example he "predicted" this last year:
"The H-1B visa problem will NOT go away. Immigration reform will have little actual effect on H-1B visa abuse".
Oh wow. Massive prediction there from 2017. Here is MY Prediction for 2019: "The H-1B visa problem will NOT go away. Immigration reform will have little actual effect on H-1B visa abuse"
Everything he listed is a multiyear issue. Completely idiotic.
The OSI organization is a failure and has ruined the Free Software movement. The entire organization should be abandoned. We had a chance to make Free Software free forever and we blew it. Now Open Source is being used to monitor and sell us out to the mega corporations. And there is nothing we can do about it because we gave it away with "corporate friendly" OSI efforts.
Obviously. The direction we chose to go will not allow for autonomous driving, ever. Unless you redesign the road network and make everything autonomous.

We shut down that one and are using something much more effective now. It even detects people writing treason on webs
These tech companies have no clue what to do with all their cash. What a waste. At least give it back as dividends.

Impossible. Tesla made the first electric car.
Thats nice. But that isn't what I am talking about.
Spoken like a good technocrat.

I don't know what SHUL is, but I enjoy lying immensely.

That sounds like a problem. How are we going to get all that construction equipment to Mars? Is there a rental place nearby?
Wait, why is this needed? You guys assured me that colonizing Mars is not only possible, but within the reach of current technology. How would you know that unless you already did all the necessary research?

Dude, the Nazis all got killed in the 1940s. Didn't you get the memo?

Say wha? A Nazi? Didn't we kill all you guys in the 40s?

Sorry Rei, Tesla is done. Game over man.

Don't experiment on my roads. Go experiment on Mars. He isn't thinking about anything else except for his ego and money.

Nope. That isn't what Elon claimed. He said drive coast to coast by end of 2019. He just said it was regulations holding it up, not the technology.
