I definatly need to send that to the net admins here at school. I can surf the web, read e-mail, and use instant messaging. Thats about it. Everything else is restricted on a dorm-to-dorm basis. So I can play games with people from my building but my friends on the other side of campus are shit outta luck.

Very good call on the book. If I remember correctly (I read it in 7th grade, atleast 8 years ago) the book also covers the history of the virus and its major outbreaks. A good read if you want more info on this type of thing.

No CEO I've ever met or spoken with is going to deal with the issue of a $20 part with a single customer. If, suddenly, their inbox was full of complaints over a $20 part from numerous individuals then it might be an issue for them because it is a big problem for the company. This case however, appears to be an isolated incident and I seriously doubt the head of the company will do more then click on delete or (in the case of snail mail) place it in the circular file.

The station's air pressure had dropped from the normal 14.7 psi to 14.0 psi. NASA have emphasised that the crew's health was not in danger, but some onboard equipment, including an air monitor, is only certified for use above 13.9 psi
it would seem that things were pretty close. but keeping in mind that it was only losing .03 psi per day it doesnt seem that serious. they would have had 33 more days to find it atleast.
