Most Strike-Outs in a regular 9-inning game is 20, shared by Roger Clemens, for Boston (04/29/1986 and 09/18/1996) and Kerry Wood, for Chicago(05/06/1998)

JS: There is one good technique, and it's the only one that's effective. No firewall, no port blocking--none of that will work. The solution is that you must install patches.
I definatly need to send that to the net admins here at school. I can surf the web, read e-mail, and use instant messaging. Thats about it. Everything else is restricted on a dorm-to-dorm basis. So I can play games with people from my building but my friends on the other side of campus are shit outta luck.
Very good call on the book. If I remember correctly (I read it in 7th grade, atleast 8 years ago) the book also covers the history of the virus and its major outbreaks. A good read if you want more info on this type of thing.
No CEO I've ever met or spoken with is going to deal with the issue of a $20 part with a single customer. If, suddenly, their inbox was full of complaints over a $20 part from numerous individuals then it might be an issue for them because it is a big problem for the company. This case however, appears to be an isolated incident and I seriously doubt the head of the company will do more then click on delete or (in the case of snail mail) place it in the circular file.
OK, so you beat me on a technicality. Water must be liquid in the few tenths of a second between solid and gas. But what I meant (and you know this) is that water cannot stay in a liquid state. They arent going to round a corner and see some kind of pond.
according to the article The station's air pressure had dropped from the normal 14.7 psi to 14.0 psi.
NASA have emphasised that the crew's health was not in danger, but some onboard equipment, including an air monitor, is only certified for use above 13.9 psi
it would seem that things were pretty close. but keeping in mind that it was only losing.03 psi per day it doesnt seem that serious. they would have had 33 more days to find it atleast.
There aren't many electronics I would expect to survive a 3+ foot fall. You dropped it on the floor, it broke, and you're suprised about it? I mean...wtf.
I work at a college which primarily uses Gateway laptops and I own one myself. Havent had a problem with it and we dont get more problems with them than any other brand. You are correct about the service though...it sucks, hard. After dealing directly with them for a few months we found a 3rd party service rep who does the work on them now.
There doesnt appear to be any difference. The state court just didnt want to make a decision so it goes to a federal one...I dont think SBC has much of a chance after Verizon failed though.
Sorry about 1986 though.
haha, thanks. consider yourself forgiven.
Although, the Cubs may have it worse then us. We have atleast been to the world series.

that didnt even occur to me. must be all the mind-numbing work ive had to do today.
i would think its the opposite. usually a sense is heightened the more you use it.
stated in this article last year

"4 books in the trilogy???"
Trilogy relates to 3. Sorry, just being technical.

Thanks. I had found that same article you posted but I looked for a few more minutes and found the newer one with different info.
I wish I were smarter so I could follow that with an equally intelligent reply...but all I know is that its just to damn cold on the surface.
and just a year ago we found out that both poles are mostly water ice.
"I am curious though as to why they dont think it could be mud if they are indeed suspicious of water being present?"
because as far as we can tell water cant exist in a liquid state on mars.
good call. hey, i never claimed to be good at math.

how can something be redundant if no1 above me said that before?

What lesson is this 8 year old and his peers going to take home from this?
Obviously that of not experimenting and being curious. Don't you love it when the educators hinder education?
Also, just a techicality...but he is 13.
