    They waived their rights to sue people who use file sharing to steal music.

    Yes it's stelling and yes it's wrong but the levy counts as cost recovery in other words if they sue they cant ask for money since they have already been compensated for their loss.

    But i guess someone would have to explain that to them.

    Even with the levy now the Canadian RIAA wants to sue people on P2P it's funny becauze they gave up that option when they started the levy... but that wont stop them or get the levy lifted

    The problem is that people dont look at Open Source as free they see it as too good to be true, ie why goverments like the one i work for have policies that state Open Source is not to be mentioned or used.

    They didnt want me to go since i was the highest seller. They actualy begged me to stay.

    I could not stand calling up people and asking if they wanted life insurance on their sears card... i it so many freeking widows/widowers made me mad that they had such an old crappy setup.

    This would explain alot, from the college whos teachers still think that Novel 5 is the leeding edge of Networking and that Linus started Linux becauze he didn't want to have to buy Unix.

    At least in my school we run a program that compairs all the assigments to each other and flags those with "similar" code.

    everyone gets a chance to explain and the "flagged" code is examind by the teacher of the course.

    Excatly, now please come to my college and explain this to them. They insist on teaching thier Comp Sci. / Eng. Students that the only Network Operating systems are Windows 2000 Advance Server, Netware 6 and Windows XP Pro.

    O ya and they mentioned Linus and Linux in the first lecture sparking my friend to want to beat the shit out of the teacher when he said Linus started Linux as something to give away for free since he didn't like the propriatary OS's.

    Same man said Novel Netware has never had security issues... quick google search will prove otherwize.

    Dont know much about UL but if SCO is in it... why are they? Im sorry but shur they had/have a distro but that in my opinion doesnt cancel out the fact they are trying to destroy Linux?
