Wrong, those who like free tv (you know who you are), have been hacking satallite dishes for ages. It's not like circumventing tech that is build into hardware is horribly difficult, it just takes a little more electronics expertise along with some hacking knowledge.
On top of that, I'll be damned if I buy any piece of hardware that has build in protection into it (that's right, I also refuse to buy a DVD player for that reason).
What bothered me is I didn't notice one single piece of dialogue in either Reloaded or Revolutions that eluded that the Animatrix and all the history behind it even existed.
Okay, I thought it neccesary, after hearing this to point out to everyone that if for some reason, you didn't feel like all of your questions were answered, or that the movie was convoluted, that there's MORE content that's external to the movies than there is in the movies.
If you want to fully understand the story, I would suggest the following for starters:
The Animatrix There are 9 total episodes, 4 of them can be downloaded for FREE off of their web-site.
Comics There are 24 graphic novel shorts, that have a lot of information, and are FREE.
Enter The Matrix Game Okay, the game sucked, but it had a lot of back story. It explains what happens after the episode "Osiris" in the animatrix. The letter is dropped at the drop point, and then what? The plot of this game explains that.
"Yes, is this tech support? I think I have a virus in my contact. Everywhere I go, everyone's face is being replaced by banner ads.... Yes, I see it. Yea, it says gator. What I'm screwed?......"
I can see how one might draw this conclusion, but you're wrong. When they refer to the keymaster in Ghostbusters, they were referring to a single key used to open a single door.
In Reloaded, when they refer to the keymaster, they're drawing a parallel to what would be a "Matrix" version of a cryptography program used to generate keys, probably not unlike the crypto function of *nix.
I saw Bill Gates naked once, but then I got cold and had to put on a robe.
Most bayes filters are designed to ignore neutral words. Even if I had a whole book pasted in, If the words viagra, valium, or whatever shows up, it ignores the rest of the e-mail and says, "Hmm, since when did Dracula need viagra." Denied!
That's not entirely true. Who's to say that the simple task that they're performing wouldn't be converting one matierial to another (IE, dirt to platinum/titanium for electronics or whatever). Perhaps you could use them to make power.. A more efficient solar panel.
I think everyone's conception of nanotech is horribly skewed.
I've noticed that people who are excessively clean tend to actually get sick more often than people who just don't care. Your body is "designed" (if I may take such a liberty) to deal with bacteria in a fairly efficient way.
In the same way, people that try to avoid getting sick when the latest round of colds comes around is only making it worse for themselves. If you can catch a cold closely to the time after you got sick the last time, you probably won't even notice it, but it's that much longer until the next time you get really sick.
Just eat up, if you die, then it's only proof that natural selection is working.
Okay, so say for instance that I have a battery that's about 1 cubic foot. I add approximately 1lb of sugar to it. I use the battery and as electricity is being generated, 80% of the electrons are being collcted and sent out as energy... Well, what happens to the rest of the sugar?! Do I end up with 1/4lb of bacteria? Will I end up with some strangely glucose deficient sludge? Will I need to come out every morning with a spoon and scoop 1lb of bacteria into the trash?
Individuals who have a computer network or LAN installed at their homes, and incur costs to operate and maintain it, might be subject to State Communication Taxes as well.
Hmm, call me naive, but how would one go about taxing a home lan?
How about..
Imposing a sales tax that only applies to switching and networking equipment?
$100 Switch (Retail) + 9% Tax = $109
$90 Switch (Same Switch Online From Another State) + $5 SH = $95
Or..
What about taxing existing LANs? How would one go about doing that?
Also..
Since it's a LAN you can't impose the tax at the ISP end (although this would probably work okay for taxing a WAN), or would it only be considered a LAN if it was connected to the internet?
Thanks, I'm interesting in seeing if anyone had and clever ideas.

When I've set fire to the bank that I just robbed ;)
Matrix 2 was a blatant rip-off of Ghostbusters

Watching the masses of sheeple from the distance, he spoke "Hmph. Thats right, just run back to your masters, you faithful dogs, and buy your music."

I like it when people use bad grammer. It make it easier to spot the things that I probably wouldn't want to read anyway.
You're perfectly welcome to use alittle or alot, but let me tell you, my first impression is (Score: -2, Can't Write).
