Better an injection that lasts 6 months and can teach a person self control in the mean time than a sentence to a cult-like organization that convinces you that you're destined to die unless you attend their fruity little club until the end of your life. AA's success rate is no better than the spontaneous rate of remission (doing nothing at all). Yet it's worshiped as a solution because A: it's free and B: proselytization is part of the program. Popularity != quality. Fucking cancerous boil of a religion on the ass of science. Thank god for scientific solutions like this that can finally put the nail the the quackery coffin, but you can bet your ass twelve steppers and their ilk will be out in (often anonymous) force, trying to get this banned or at least lobbying against it's use.

It takes a dog quite some time to stop begging at the table if you've ever fed it there. You're right that things have changed recently, but I still think it's what they want. Unless Kim has actually swallowed his own bullshit, he cannot possibly think there is chance of posing a serious threat to SK. He's been outside NK. He knows how it is. If they ever did invade, and the NK army saw how the people of SK were living, there would be serious morale problems, to say the least. If there is any secondary motive, I think it has more to do with internal propaganda than anything else.

They stopped denying the "peaceful satellites" line the other week. North Korea’s National Defence Commission said: "We are not disguising the fact that the various satellites and long-range rockets that we will fire and the high-level nuclear test we will carry out are targeted at the United States." It doesn't get much clearer than that. Why do they do it? It's very simple, and very rational. They behave badly and naive bleeding-heart parties on the world stage give them humanitarian aid and shit to calm down. If they didn't behave badly, they would get nothing. What we could do is stop rewarding them, but if we did that, the people would suffer. Personally I think all we're doing is prolonging their suffering by propping up the regime.

I have. It happens. It wasn't a true brick as I was able to pull out some incompatable hardware (with the new bios rev) and get it to boot, but I couldn't downgrade either, so I was stuck without that piece of hardware until it got fixed. If I had been your average user, however, and did not dare open the case, it would have been effectively bricked. Then again, your average user never upgrades their bios.

I wouldn't worry about it that much. In today's day and age, it's not at all a big deal if your handwriting is shit. With me, personally, I've never noticed any deficiency in any other area than handwriting. It's certainly possible your case is different as each brain is unique, but at the same time, there is a lot that's not understood about how we work.

Maybe you read a while back about Scott Adams, the creator of Dilbert. Well. He lost his ability to draw on paper due to a strange brain condition. Funny thing was, he had no problem drawing with a tablet. For some reason, the brain didn't interpret the actions the same way and he had no problem drawing. What i'm trying to get at is I wouldn't let a possibility of something that *might* affect you cause you to give up on guitar playing or other activities you enjoy because you feel somehow predisposed to fail.
