Has anybody actually read the patent application or is everyone too busy trolling their point of view on patents in general ?
I read it and as far as I can see the "innovation" is that you can't convert the virtual currency back into real currency. It's a bit thin and too generalised to be granted a patent on as far as I can figure out.
Unless I'm missing something it really is that simple and obvious.
Sorry mate, Pars fan here. The only time I care about any of the bigots out west is when they play Dunfermline
If it is him I can say it all I like, I'm in Scotland and the order doesn't apply here.
You can't stop the signal
It's gigawatts, hand in your geek card at the door
How old are you ?
Does your Mum know that you're using her computer ?
You forgot the usual ending to these kind of things.
Therefore, in summary, screw you
then it's not private, I don't care what you think your "privacy" settings are keeping secret from other people.
The penalty for violating the GPL is the same as the penalty for any other breach of copyright.
Looking at what the **AAs charge for that it's hardly no penalty
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
The European Parliament has absolutely zero legislative power, it's only there to make a noise and keep hasbeen politicians in an all expenses "job"
If you want to completely abdicate responsability for it all than that's the way to go.
Then you can concentrate full time on keeping your internet connection working because you'll be screwed without it
I cleaned 3 machines last week with fake anti-virus on them
http://www.softsailor.com/how-to/8723-how-to-remove-security-tool-virus-malware-removal-guide.html
All 3 machines had working and fully up to date Microsoft Security Essentials which did absolutely nothing to protect them.
Fuck Off !
It's my money and I'll spend it where it suits me.
Yeah, if the writer can't even get a basic fact like that correct, reading the article itself promises to be fairly pointless
Not just at Bethesda but in the whole IT industry where software and often hardware ships to a date rather than when it's reasonably bug free.
I remember beta testing Star Wars Galaxies and nobody on the beta could believe that it had actually been RTM because of the number of bugs in it.
How often have you felt like unpaid beta testers for operating systems, office applications or business critical systems ?
How often have you done something about it other than following the tried and tested go to the website and look for a patch route ?
Dollars ?
All these suits are because Microsoft CLAIMS there is infringing use of patents. Nothing has been proven.
At this stage it's just Microsoft pointing their corporate finger and making claims in an attempt to extort money.
We have whisky, why would we need rocks ?
We'd just trip over them after drinking the whisky
You seem to be making a noise but it bears no relation to known fact

I bet it'll be the most secure, stable and innovative windows ever. If I'm lucky the Wow! will never stop.
Oh, and people will still fall for the same marketing shit rather than realising that Windows is the lowest common denominator of operating systems

Apple had Woz, that was more than enough to make up for all the smart geeks MS could hire
When did Facebook suddenly become the only "social network" ?
All valid points I'm sure. I'd be interested to hear if you think these faults are due to shovelling it out the door unfinished to meet a deadline ?
I broke the screen on my HTC Tytn 2
I had it in my front pocket when I was out paintballing and it took one to the screen, can't think of any way I could break it in normal use.
New screen cost me £35, cheaper than the insurance would have been if I'd taken it out
