Well the amout of illegal stuff kids can do on the net is fairly smaller than they can do on the way from school to work. Do you drive your kids to school too ? Btw how do you now that their school is completly safe? For instance I think NO school is completely drug-free. If you uplhold your liability statement you should organise home-education... wich seems one brodge to far. On the other hand if you install a proxy, whats keeping them going to a net-caffee or a freind ?

I've come across a lop infected computer. I took a look on their site and found a question in their Faq that discusses the uninstall. They have a uninstall tool, I ran that tool and the pc 'seemed' clean.
I agree, it's Crapware with capital C, but the cleaning went smooth.

In this fastmoving scene like the gamedevelopment todays stuff is allready old ...
So a bunch of kiddies who want to bragg against their friends DL these demo's. Oh and BTW. it's free so why not...
Also as mentioned elsewhere game development cycles seem to take longer now.. how long have we waited on the next release of unreal2003 while their marketingmachine was doing overtime?

almost forgot, the hardware used is cheap (most of them come from shools and city offices), and the software is open source (I had a link but lost it).

  8. It works fine in belgium... on Electronic Voting: The Other Side of the Story · · Score: 1

A system that mimics the old voting really...
If you vote electronic, you have to go to the voting office and you get your "ballot" a card that resembles a ATM-card.
You then go to a computer, enter that card and enter your vote.
Next you put the card in a typical voting box
Those boxes gets collected and the data is red & votings are counted.

This systems makes recounts and impartial checks possible.
