I believe you need to turn 16 in the year in which you're competing, so wouldn't it have helped the believability to put 12/31/xx instead of 1/1/xx as long as you're going to fake a birthdate?
Just get the EC2 and S3 plugins for Firefox and it's really easy to fire up instances and manage them. Sure, there's a learning curve, but once you really get it, it's awesome.
While it's true that one can't both wait and not wait in order to compare which was better, by looking at what we avoided by waiting until marriage (emotional baggage, regrets, STDs, teen pregnancy, etc.) it looks like it was a good move.
"A roadmap for the future" ??? You're just as much at the mercy of M$ as you to the OO.o developers. What kind of security can one kind in M$'s supposed "roadmap for the future". Bah!

You're right, the fact that an insulin is from animal origin does not mean it's long acting.

Human insulins, or those made from rDNA, are vastly better than animal ones. The fact they don't last long is a GOOD thing for those on insulin pumps. Short-acting insulin is ideal for pumps and insulin pumps are the best way to administer insulin because they behave like a real pancreas. For those who can't afford or don't want a pump, combining Lantus (24-hour insulin) with with Novolog or Humalog (short acting) is the best way to mimic the functions of a pump or pancreas. All in all, the 1970s called they want their animal insulins back. Oink!
You know, now that I think of it, the Amish people are much more eco-friendly than us "civilized" beings.
Maybe so, but their gene pool is in big, big trouble. I saw a report about how many of their children these days have strange genetic defects never before seen.
I think not putting your name on something is cowardly. If you want to say something, stand behind it and be prepared to accept consequences whether just or unjust. Otherwise, don't bother saying stuff. If you don't want to sign your name and stand behind what you say, think about whether it is it really worth saying and if it's really a good idea to say it.
I pay $5/month to listen to just about any song I want to at home and at work. (It costs 79cents each to keep the downloads forever.) I haven't bought CDs in years because of how cheaply I can enjoy music on my computer. Yahoo hardly makes a profit on this price, not to mention the artists I listen to. I am really tired of the piracy BS that is said to be the cause of declining artist revenues. Load of garbage.

Having no a/c in the server room is unacceptable.
I, too, credit my love of programming and my career choice to early exposure to Logo in elementary school. Thanks Mrs. Wong!
I like your idea though.

I'm a card-carrying member of MENSA and I was a virgin when I got married (so was my wife). It was one of the best decisions we ever made.

In response to my own post, I was so intent on getting FP that I didn't think through what I was typing. (How's that for an excuse?)
Why does Google care so much? They get more money when people abuse it. Just charge less per click if they're that concerned about it.

On tax documents, perhaps. I know I do.

If they were running XP, that'd be at least $100 right there!

IE3 works pretty well as an animation killer :-) It won't animate GIFs and certainly not Flash.
Wow, thanks for the "brief" "summary." I don't think I need to read the book now...
