this is really interesting study. it reminds me of an article from some time back about how the time to choose when presented with 3 options versus 2 was considerably disproportionate.
I once had a manager (engineering manager - didn't even know what a dowel pin was...) that used comic sans for everything. It sure doesn't make it easy to take a person very seriously.

I thought the jury was supposed to listen to the arguments from both sides to determine the outcome of the case. Why is this judge explaining anything?
i watched on the BBC's feed and it was still shit. the olympics opening ceremonies would have been far better and far more entertaining if the blokes from top gear had produced it. danny boyle? come on.
I lived in the "good old boy" east Texas for about 5 years when I was younger. Texans are far more polite to their brethren than any other group I have ever experienced. Having said that, I am not sure how joking has anything to do with actually getting laid.
Me? Confident? umm, no. The reason I am not confident is because I do read and learn and understand what scientists and economists have to say in their respective fields of expertise. It is the people like you that confound me. If you actually did what you preached, you would see the same contradictory evidence as I. I am also shocked at your ability to deduce so much about me. I must admit that I am quite impressed! (The truth is I am socially very liberal. Shocker?)
