I think the problem with my internet addiction is due to the fact that I'm drunk when I'm on the internet and can't stop buying things like 'the blessed virgin mary toast' or other object that I must have while drunk.
Mmmmm sweet internet and beer.
I dunno, if you look at libraries as a whole, a lot of them have pretty much ignored the internet to an extent anyway... Most kids don't even _go_ to the library anymore. I don't see how much relevence a bill like this would have. It would just mean more and more people not going to the libraries and doing stuff from home....making the internet "stronger" so to speak.
I agree with this...to a point. The problem with Cell-Phone viruses is that a 'virus coder' would have to code for multiple operating systems on a phone, symbian, blackberry, palm, windows mobile 5, etc...and I'm not sure if that would be such an easy task... What would this accomplish? Also they would most likely have to code a virus that would spread across multiple carriers, etc.
What I 'do' see a rise in, is more identity theft/security issues resulting from blutooth sniffing, wifi-traffic (for wifi enabled smartphones), and just plain dumb people who get the latest Sidekick and don't bother setting up basic security.
Wow, non-running. I wonder if it will run windows Vista. How is Microsoft going to track which hardware its attached too with the power off?
--disclaimer, this is my first attempt at a funny post, all others have failed.
I heard MacGyver defeated macrovision with a turkey baster, a roll of duct tape, and a antique iron.
Seriously though, the movie companies need to produce a movie that is good.....before I'll buy it, and tell the movie theatres to stop selling commercials and charging $15 bucks for a small popcorn and 12 bucks to see the movie. Last I checked you can search the $5 bin at Wal Mart and get all the crappy movies you want.
The problem with the segway is that there was already a multitude of transportation devices that had already been invented...mainly the wheel to start, then maybe the bicycle and "razor" scooter... Heck you don't even have to plug them in....and you might burn off that super sized meal in the process.
Man invented BEER cause he was thirsty. Now if we could have an instamatic beer maker that would be cool. Although this whole concept is too Star Trekkie for me, especially now that Star Trek is over.
Mmmmm Insta-Beer, hopefully it tastes like Guiness, and doesn't end up tasting like chicken.
Man...and I thought I would be cool if I got a barcode tatoo...now what can I do?
Good idea though. I know some people in Michigan that drive to Ohio to buy all of thier pop (no deposit) and then bring thier cans back to Michigan and get the 10 cents for every can...Same barcode on all sodacans...

Hmm, And I thought Al Gore invented the internet.
http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=12145 8 Cores! IBM had that years ago....then again maybe not as fast. Maybe AIX will run on Sun Hardware?
