This app sucks, I installed the latest 2.60 kazaa along with 2.60 dietK, it all used way too much ram, and after starting it a few times kazaa shutdown after saying "Kazaa has detected that the advertising programs cannot run" or some gibberish. Next time you shamelessly post a URL, do your research. We all need to just wait for a new K++ based off the 2.60 build.
Why didnt anyone suggest PUTTY? Its an amazing, small, versatile Telnet/SSH/MUD client. Free too.
It beats any of the pay apps ive seen for that stuff.
Theyre trying to break down file sharing by getting to them while theyre young. Its not a solution now, but years down the road they hope to see a significant change.
This reminds me of McDonald's advertising campaign. More children recognize Ronald McDonald then Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. Thats the reason McDonalds has been so succesful, people of all ages trust the company.
I use IMATION cdrs frequently, they are supposedly some of the best due to their special patented type of dye used, does anyone have more info on this brand?
The RIAA kind of reminds me of communism in one way or another, but they cant scare us into being forced to pay for music. Their biggest mistake is theyre only going after P2P networks, and leaving Altnet, IRC and the underground groups alone. I guess this is just more of an effort to scare the Mainstream into "god i should just buy the music, ill be in trouble if I dont" but the real people who know their way around will still get what they want.
I own about 200 original cds, I haven't purchased one in about 3 years now and have no intention of ever spending money at a retail outlet again on a music cd.
Aren't the current headlines and media tied up into people swapping mp3's? Its about time someone posted genuine criminal activity and the actions being taken to stop them.
Tell the RIAA that i threw a rock at their building yesterday when i died and went to hell.
Its funny how the media portrays jews as the most understandable and nice people and how they were persecuted so badly during ww2. Yet we see here the jew in all his nature, that of a vulgar, uncouth piece of trash.:)
Jews are more racist then neo-nazis and blacks put together and it seems to show every time i open up my IE browser.
Yes i do agree, K-Lite does deserve my respect, ive been following k-lite for about a year now and i dont understand why that person said "kazaa is dying due to read only" Sounds more like an RIAA rep just trying to strive us away.
Of course, 95% of the time i use Altnet, 4% IRC, 1% K-Lite these days.
The thing about kazaa is that i cant find group releases on there in their proper formats, seems like all i find is divx movies. And so much viruses and illegal pornography.

As ive had 5 versions of trailers for this movie for about a month now. Mine are in mpeg format too.

The headline that CNN posted doesnt say specifically who Sharman Networks is filing suit against, it just says "record labels"
Screw budweiser, drink Pabst Blue Ribbon!
My posting was not offtopic, a troll who replied first to the original news topic was boasting obscenities and mentioned being a jew.
Those Verbatim Datalife PLUS's are the ones i use yes. Thank you for the input, i shouldve been more specific.

Mozilla is nice, I tend to use Opera quite often though.
