    if what you did is more illegal than Contempt of Court go for it.

    or use multi-layered encryption so you give them your "credit card and SSN" key not your "terrorist plot" key. with systems like that there is no way to tell if there is more data encrypted in using another key

    i know it's unscientific, but back when i was living in a college dorm the problems on the Dell and HP coputers were software problems mostly PEBKAC's. The guys with the alienware machines were the ones with crap like burned out video cards and dying RAM.

    with a script you can't tell whether or not your "test" searches are strings people would actually be searching with. by using real world data they can classify each search string as seems to be looking for porn, and not seems to be looking for porn. the subject of study is how many not looking for porn strings turn up porn and why.

    I doubt they will find much with google. the only time i get porn on google, is when i look for porn on google.

    the data they are looking for is in the form of (SEARCH TERMS, SEARCH RESULTS)

    if someone searched for private data then it would be exposed but that is the only personal data that is exposed by THIS demand.

    try foxit reader. sometimes it doesn't draw as quickly as acrobat reader but it also doesn't lock your system while it downloads and draws PDF's

    periodically 'down' non critcal things and go fix them. in 2+ printer lab knock one offline right as you go for lunch and come to the rescue by "fixing" it during your lunch (eat lunch then turn it back on)

    actually the electoral college has done a good job stabilizing elections by making crap like miai-dade in 2000 very rare.

    with a straight up popular vote contesting the results EVERYWHERE would become a common tactic and every election that was even remotely close would brwak down into chaos. by limiting the number of locations where a small change in votes could have a chance to effect the outcome you have a less democratic but MUCH more stable system.
