if microsoft made a music player better than the ipod and better than an MP3 CD player which played.WMA and MP3 i would probably buy it. as it is now i am sticking to my Panasonic MP3 CD player.
there is no reason a CLI could not display a movie, most accelerated video hardware spits out onto an overlay anyways. hell you could even have the movie switch from behind/above the text with a keystroke.
just because a system uses a CLI does not require it to have a primitive character only output hell linux often boots with a little graphical logo among the text output.
another solution would be to have a two panel system with the lower portion being a CLI and the upper portion being a graphics output.
having two cursors would probably expose a metric shitload of GUI race conditions due to applications never expecting two, previously mutually exclusive cursor controlled actions to occur at the same time.

P&S cameras do not show focus nearly well enough, the low resolution of the LCD display does not permit it. also some P&S cameras don't show on the screen the exact dimensions that will be in the photograph
one last flaw is the massive battery drain which occurs due to the operation of a backlit LCD on a typical point and shoot. with my kodak easyshare with the screen off i can easilly fill a memory card (over 80 pictures) but with it on i can barely get 30.
great hardware.... right..... have you bought Sony consumer gear made recently? it is worse than their major brand competitors and about comparable to the decent generic hardware.
Sony doesn't make quality, for over a decade Sony's consumer electronics have been only marginally, if at all, better than the no-name brand electronics and quite a bit behind the other big manufacturers.

you get live preview with a DSLR --the viewfinder-- unlike point and shits, the viewfinder on a DSLR actually sees through the lens and filters themselves to show what your picture will look like including focus and zoom done more precise than extra markings etched into the viewfinder

poke around cheater forums and find the methods the aimbot uses to pick out a player head from other surroundings.
on honeypot servers send out levels with objects that look like normal terrain and decorations to a human player but look like heads to the aimbot. perhapse adding false character objects at a tiny scale or using spots of similar coloration. whenever a player shoots too many of these spots the admin takes a look at that player's history and puts word out that the player may be cheating
I agree, i don't know how the cell networks operate but if it would be possible for a cell tower to broadcast an SMS message to ALL rather than to a particular number so any phone in range would get the message.
