the problem is that the current system forces the two major parties to adopt positions from minor parties in order to not lose votes to that party, with a runoff or "choose as many as you like" parties are most succesasful when they remain static.
you fail to realize that in China censorship is normal and accepted, it is a different culture, not to say that the acceptance isn't based mostly on fear of the government, but someone going online in china would expect that news be censored.
I'd like to add that when a small LCD is ruined by a group of bad pixels you have (assuming its a moderately large display, 128*64) just over 8000 good pixels wasted, not really all that many, but a 1280*1024 display, while still considered "damaged" with a few dead pixels you end up with over 1.3 million good pixels being "wasted"
probably because of randomly distributed bad pixels, if customers were willing to accept LCD monitors with two or three bad pixels LCD's would be a hell of a lot cheaper, but when a batch produces so much wasted area that is too small for a normal display costs of large, high-res units will be much more expensive than somewhat smaller, low-res units. the difference is that CRT technology, while fundamentally more complex overall, is less difficult to manufacture in moderately large sizes without picture flaws.
as opposed to ignoring the requests of the PRC government and having google web pages blocked by the national firewall, yea that'll really help people. I am sure that chinese citizens would rather have censored news than no news.
AFAIK there's no way to "hack" Battle.net so that you don't need a unique and registered SN.
ever heard of bnetd? there are pirate master servers for just about any game, the problem is the games are good due to large numbers of people so you can always find someone to play against, not so on a lonely pirate server running off someones DSL line.

i am using 1.0PR, it's not a constant thing, in the past some versions do it on some installs, i don't know why it does, but it seems that the tables misalign somehow. when i had 0.9.3 most recently it did do it, but the time before thet (before reinstalling windows) the same version rendered correctly, the first time i tried firefox (.7) it would occur about 30% of the time loading the page. while using.8-.9.3 on that windows install it worked correctly.
have it operate in full-screen mode on IE and gecko, imagine having your favorites, history, interface layout, etc. all available wherever you go and on any system you use, perhapse with different types of interfaces to handle missing features on the client, such as a text/frames mode, full jscript for major browsers, etc.

if the systems are set up with GRID software they are far less of a waste, but a lab get a cluster free.
put a null text file in place of msn messenger and make it read only, that way nothing can auto-repair your "broken" windows messenger install.

either that or it is a pre-cracked iso of the game if released by one of the more professional groups.

how about having a switch within the app which removes the reg entry when not in use

i would use a useragent spoof to fake the google browser.
