A soufflé is a light, fluffy, baked cake made with egg yolks and beaten egg whites combined with various other ingredients and served as a savory main dish or sweetened as a dessert. The word soufflé is the past participle of the French verb souffler which means "to blow up" or more loosely "puff up" -- an apt description of what happens to this combination of custard and egg whites.
Location and Profession do not determine whether or not you are a redneck
Yes actually, it does.
From wikipedia:
To outsiders, it is generally a term for white people of Southern or Appalachian rural poor backgrounds -- or more loosely, rural poor to working-class people of rural extraction.
Redneck is a disparaging [1] term that refers to a person who is stereotypically Caucasian and of lower social-economic status in the United States, particularly referring to those living in rural areas.
By that definition from wikipedia then no.
But you don't make up your own definitions for words as you see fit do you?
you remind me of my redneck pal who says anybody who drives anything other than Dodge is a fool. He bases his opinion on..... well basically nothing, and I bet you do too.
Going back to your original point, no, you're wrong. Not a redneck and I tend to base my opinions on facts and physics.
I never said Chrome was the fastest. But compared to Firefox it's a speed demon. Firefox seems to be single threaded while Chrome uses multi-threading for the tabs. For example I can play multiple flash videos in chrome or browse and watch a video with no problem. In Firefox, if I two windows open, one playing a flash video and I start scrolling on a webpage on the other video, the video starts to lag and skip frames. Not to mention websites load significantly faster and the browsing experience is much better. Firefox was good for it's time, but it's a relic now that needs some major under the hood improvements.
Mind you, this is on a 4GHz Core i7 920 system with 6gb of low latency DDR3-1600 RAM...
Uh huh. You remind me of my redneck pal who says anybody who drives anything other than Dodge is a fool. He bases his opinion on..... well basically nothing, and I bet you do too.
Thanks for calling me a redneck and accusing me of making baseless accusations. Nice try, however I'm a white Eastern European and an Engineer.
Theres your problem, Firefox is a relic of a browser, use something like Chrome and you'll see the speed increase significantly. I've found Windows7 to be a speed demon personally.
Thing is, 30 missions straight of Terran-only is going to mean a lot of filler, a really slow progression in tech trees, and probably a fair bit of boredom doing the same things with the same units over and over. I'd gladly take three different races at 10 missions apiece, without any silly RPG stuff between-missions, and a stable multiplayer platform Blizzard can spend time balancing.
Says who? you?
Blizzard has a pretty damned good reputation for making great story lines in their games, I doubt they would be happy with the quality if 75% of the missions were crappy filler.
I'll take Blizzard's reputation over some/.'rs snarky comment.
If I'm running an organization like Google or Apple, I want the brightest minds working for me. I could care less if they were white/black/latino/chinese/etc, I only care about their technical abilities and their capability to work well in a team.
Yeah, yeah, laws made to conteract bigoted employers are "draconian" and "racist"
Yes, quota systems are draconian and racist by design...
Screw Nvidia? Let me guess, you're trying to use the open source driver? I've had no problems with my GTX275 or 8600MGT with 1080p playback on Linux using the closed source binary blob.
Besides if you really wanted to play it you could get the Alienware m11x with a GT335M, claimed 6-8 hours of battery life with the GPU off. Or you could get one of the ASUS UL series with discrete GPUs, a GT210/310 will easily run DA:O since they score ~3-4k 3D Mark 06. Especially at the lower resolution of the laptop displays.
These are both laptops that will get well over 6 hours of battery life for under a grand and are sub 13".
Well, what I did was ask for a refund, they told me no. I then replied and asked to redownload and they granted it.
Dear x,
Your request for a refund for "Futurama, Season 1" was carefully considered; however, according to the iTunes Store Terms of Sale, all purchases made on the iTunes Store are ineligible for refund. This policy matches Apple's refund policies and provides protection for copyrighted materials
Can I redownload it?

The sharks aren't big enough, I think our only chance is to put those in a whale.
Star Trek had it all wrong, the humpback whales didn't go extinct because they're so tasty, nono, they went extinct because we were putting friggin laser beams in them.
Apple isn't too bad in that regard. I had some Futurama episodes that I lost when moving to a new computer, filled out the form and was able to redownload all them in about a week.
Yes, on our 66mhz computers with 80mb hard drives.

You can resell it or lend it, but the DLC/extra content is tied to your account.
I've watched the preview matches for SCII, the game looks amazingly fun.
Also WoW has a huge story line, it was lost on 90% of the gamers however.

Yes, and some of you also live in a fairy land where everything works according to some weird unrealistic set of ideals.
Each campaign in Starcraft II will be as long as the original game, I see nothing wrong with that.
Or maybe they're actually not prepared for a cyberattack?
Nono, the man is trying to stick it to us obviously.
I currently make 6x that and I eat just fine thank you very much.
Huh?

Google just doesn't want to be subjected to draconian and racist equal opportunity laws or quotas.
I'm pretty sure they are hiring people based on merit and technical ability, not race or color.

Security through Obscurity never worked.
Yeah, but for that price you're better off with a Core2Duo ULV Laptop which push 7-12 hours of battery life.
However, you get what you pay for with this laptops, their screens are terrible.
All of the ION netbooks use 1368x768 screens.
Except for the Lenovo Ideapad S12 which has a 1280x800 screen...
All of which can play 720p video.
Get your facts straight.
DA:O isn't a very demanding game to be honest.

Nice price, but you'd be lucky to get 3 hours out of one of those NEO netbooks, not to mention the heat.
Except for the fact that H.264 is hardware decoded on a lot of mobile devices.
My Hard drive with 4k sector sizes works perfectly under Windows 7?
You obviously don't understand the grand scale of my plans for world domination...
It's simpletons like you that give me a reason to exist.
