The day google docs supports data acquisition hardware is the day I'll give it a though.
Besides, creating graphs on google docs is rather annoying. Also I don't happen to be on a networked connection 24/7, what do I do when I need to work on my documents and the internet is down or not available?
Google took a page right out of Microsoft's playbook by buying a company who was already working on web based doc writers, effectively beating Microsoft to the game.
Personally I wouldn't trust important documents to stay on the web server. What happens when google goes belly up and starts shutting down their web servers? The bigger a company gets, the bigger they fall.
But the majority of people who would need one of these boxes are the "special cases" as you so kindly put it. They are the ones to whom $100 is a lot of money, and they are the ones who watch over the air TV and don't have much else to do during the day.
I don't know many people who only make $500 a month that live on their own... You could make twice as much working at McDonalds.
Unfortunately, you'd get beaten to a pulp in school if you actually showed off your talent, and made the self-defense decision to learn to play football instead
What fantasy word are you living in? Every state has gifted schools for kids who do well in math/science.
Maybe it's just the industry I'm in (Mechanical Engineering), but companies tend to make sure they buy legit software for the support.
As far as game developers go, I don't know. Can't say I haven't pirated a game before, but if I like the game I do tend to purchase it after Pirating. Case in point, Supreme Commander, Fallout 3, Mass Effect.
Right, but the parent was claiming the Tesla card was just an 8series which is wrong depending on which version one is referring to.
And yes I understand the GTX and the C1060 are for all intents and purposes the same, the main difference being RAM and graphics output. My new system is going to start out with 2 dual GTX280's Instead of the more expensive Tesla board.
When I said "though", I ment "thought"

Memristors sound like an interesting method for creating analog electronic neural networks that learn...
Stepmania does this, you can press a button to have the game autoplay for you while you watch, or walk away for a moment.
Right, I'm sure you know more than NASA Mr Armchair Engineer.
tldr you want to keep the current shuttle workforce paid and maintain the status quo.
You know what they say right? A little bit of knowledge makes the greatest idiot.
Outlook not so good.
Maybe
The Reality Distortion Field has a large sway over you.
When they talk about hot computers, they are referring to your gpu/cpu temperature of course.

You can get a teraflop of performance from one of the newer Nvidia GPUs in a desktop PC!
Wow... People don't just get beaten up at bus stops, you must have some really bad experiences in your life...
You seem to have this fantasy were Jocks rule and "Nerds" are beaten to a pulp on a daily basis...

Ehrrm, after spending a few weeks with the new UI when it first came out, I love it compared to the old versions.
You know what they say though, 90% of statistics are made up on the spot.

Most professional organizations don't pirate software.
And most consumer software is crap.

Don't worry, that's just Darwin in action.
Information wants to be free.
It's like trying to contain anti-matter indefinitely, ain't gonna happen.
