The acceleration of an object is approx 9.8 meters per second, per second. I.E. at the end of the first second 9.8 meters, second second 19.6 third second 29.4... this is ACCELERATION,
there is also drag (Friction)on the object in a medium, that will limit the speed somewhat hence why an object with a round parachute "Falls" slower...
and Terminal Velocity is when the drag equals the force of gravity through a medium... say a person jumps off a six foot ladder, and someone dives off a ten meter platform... the person on the platform will hit the water at a higher rate of speed than the person on the ladder will hit the ground... but... someone falling from say 30000 feet will not make a bigger crater than someone falling 3000 (1/10th the distance) their speed will be equal...
Actually no...
I have dealt with the Chemex system pretty much all my life. I grew up in a biochem lab environment, and the filters that we got from them actually were made at the same place that made the really good filters for the lab. they were at the time just reboxed... Chemex was developed by Chemists for their own use... it, like many other lab related items were simply "Discovered" because someone visited a lab and went WOW!!!! THAT is COOL!!! when the creators were just being themselves... take Post It's, and Kevlar as an example... those, unlike Chemex were mistakes gone horribly right... whereas Chemex was born of necessity... think of a Lab without Caffeine?
(the teacher tried to tell us how an ip address is exactly like a phone number, and would not hear how its not really that much like a phone number more like a street address.... he said I was crazy)
well, the teacher saying that the IP address is more like a phone number IS more realistic, here are a couple of points to ponder...
IP address set by EITHER computer operator, or DHCP server (you cannot just tell everyone my address is 667 santa way, I am the neighbor of the beast, and expect to get the mail delivered when in actuality you live at 623 Bourbon Street. N.O.La. USA...)
the IP address can be somewhat portable, like a phone number... either dial up, or DHCP works this way... think router and a wifi card...
Now, the MAC address, THAT is more like a street address... it is hard coded into Ethernet devices, but can be changed if necessary on some things, and can be spoofed... like a home router cloning the MAC address of the computer connected to it due to ISP rules.
You are not necessarily crazy, unless you do the same thing over and over again in the same way, expecting a different response...
The other main reason is that as pressure goes down, the ease of electron transfer between conductors goes up...because the dielectric strength of air is higher than vacuum this is also why aircraft ignition wires are fully shielded and externally grounded... to reduce the likelyhood of RFI at altitude... this was ALSO common practice for radio operators to do until the late seventies to thier cars... completely shielding the ignition system... with this kind of stray electron flow near a magnetic media... corruption is almost assuredly going to follow...

hmmm ethnic profiling, like, what country is that dark skinned guy from? well, as for the What is the right gas mask? What is a Haz Mat Suit? When do I need one?well, these are a matter of specialzed training... as for the suits the training is to make you be in a hazmat suit... alive... not be hazmat in a suit dead

Nah! put 3.1 on it... then they would get stuck with dialup!, or better yet put a copy of geoworks on it!
lysdexic hackers of the world untie!!!
