Even if it was only 1 meg to rural areas that would be a million times better than the dialup we have available.
Where I live in Michigan Charter Communications, ATT/SBC will not expand their high speed networks because they won't break even fast enough if everyone on those paths signed up for service. This is disappointing since in order to have high speed you basically have to live inside city limits.
Why can't the big ones, Charter, Comcast, SBC/ATT be forced to expand their networks????
It really makes home shopping difficult when your life/job depends on having high speed at home.
*sigh.
You'd think that today's youth (like myself) would have learned this by now.

I agree with this comment, entering the yahoo toolbar into firefox is only going to lead the way for firefox to become over-run.
If firefox falls the way IE does, who's next inline for the next greatest web browser?
Kudos to the creator of this site. I hope to see it grow! I was also happy to see that a lot of the titles i already use are listed on the cleansoftware.org site.
I am curious to see what other sites get added form slashdotter's input.
I agree, that on slower machines, 1gHz, mozilla products are a bit on the slow side. probably why some of the people i've tried to convert "don't like it".
Yet, I continue to be a missionary of mozilla. =)
That'd be nice, if MS pushed for user vs admin accounts, but i would think that most normal windows users would find that "annoying". They seem to prefer "convenience" over "functionality".
