Hrmm how many times do you think the answer to a question is going to be... well thats because (vendor) has a problem with (X)... you should buy the IBM (model)
Do I sense a IBM storage solution for amazon in the future?

This compression thought is interesting. Compression of course is widely based on mathematics. At least in the recent past (6 months to a year) I noticed google advertising for PhD. Mathmatics people. Notably this was probably for the search algorithm work since that is highly math driven as well... but with all of those experts on staff, why not push them towards compression for a bit as well....

The problem with the buffer overflow is that it may be possible to execute code directly off the stack. It may even become easier when you get a dump of memory addresses because you know something about the structure and offsets. Find the right offset and memory address and instead of a machine crash you may have code executed at the privilege level of the application...

Well its time for the directors and actors to receive the cold slap in the face that is reality received earlier by their brethren in the music world from the RIAA. The MPAA doens't care in the least about *you* the only thing they care about is the money being generated by the product you create. What you think isn't important, what you want isn't important.
Go figure... who'd have thought.

That's what I was thinking, that simply bombarding the phone with UV radiation would probably kill the greatest amount of the germs. Of course if you used one of those waterproof cell cases, you wouldn't have to worry about the internal parts.
Get to work in the morning, put on cell cover, work, toss phone in UV sterilizer, take phone out of cover, go home... repeat.
