Hmm hacking his implants kinda makes sense... he also seemed to gain power from the Oracle's food. I assume she hacked him too like the french guy did to the chick eating cheese cake.

    1) Trinity dies - Neo can sacrifice himself.
    2) The scene was long, almost to long - almost YMMV
    3) It showed Neo that Smith wasn't limited to a computer
    4) The machines still need humans for power. Remember not all humans wanted to leave the matrix.
    5) Neo is one half of a balanced equation. Smith is the other, what do you get when you simplify 6=6
    6) There was a reason, you got to see program offspring and how/where that offspring had to go to live. Yes they didn't explain the halfway point, but I don't think they knew; I was amused at how they handled it. "Your not supposed to be here." "Yeah thats weird how did I get here?" "Dunno, lets just deal with it."

Hmm you could figure out the framerate.

33,000,000 pixels * 3 (assuming RGB? not sure of the encoding)
    99,000,000 bytes for 1 frame
    3,500,000,000,000 / 99,000,000 = 35353.535353...
just round to 35354 frames per 18min
    35354 / 18 = 1964.11111... fp minute
    1964.1111 / 60 = 32.735185185185... per second
Of coarse this is assuming no compression in the HDTV recording process.. just raw data per frame. So if there is compression just multiply that 32 number by it and you should have some thing in the ballpark unless my math is way off.

Its also assuming 1 byte per color component.. or a 24bit pixel value.

You have car insurance, either because your state requires it, or you might have an accedent and damage something/someone/yourself. That doesn't seem to fit with what HP was offering. Now if you paid Guido some money every month to make sure nothing happened to your house/family/property, you might be in the same ballpark.

What is really funny is that: 1) this HP thing was most likely agreed upon by the two companies in order to pull this stunt. (To give credibility to the case, and to make HP look like some kind of white knight; if you missed that) 2) but it doesn't fail because it is an obvious PR attempt by the two companies, it fails because everyone agrees that McBride is a blathering idot and just assume he is crazy.
