I bought a headset in about 2003. I expect reception quality has improved somewhat.
At the time the Linux bluetooth stack was a complete mess and the headphones would only support some legacy protocol via lots of fiddling with config files. I wonder if that's improved and/or whether interfaces target Android-only so you need to run some libhybris stack just to get it working. Okay, I'm slightly FUDing here but once bitten, twice shy.
If you've ever read any books on the Spanish Civil War, the CNT were seen by many (inc Orwell and Hemingway) as the "good guys" in the struggle against the fascist forces of Franco, Mussolini and that Austrian fuckwit.
And in the present day, with Spain ungovernable after widespread disillusionment over the socialists (PSOE) and conservatives (PP), perhaps both systems have had their day.
Just look at the Mac compare page, it's like John Sculley in the early 90s. What market segment does the Air serve awkwardly between the plain and Pro models?
Not to mention the iPad Pro has, arguably, a 'better' screen than any Macbook, for those who prefer vertical pixels.
Victorian who lives in Victoria - I think my online saver still gets 3%, down from 6% before the GFC:(
I wasn't thinking about the interest rate, more the AUD/USD conversion. When our dollars were at parity a few years ago I took a vacation to CDN/USA. If our currency did head upwards again I wondered about buying a hundred Benjamins for my next trip. i.e. lock in $10,000 at 90c and live well for a couple of months even if our own currency plummets back to 60c. (Also useful for countries where the US dollar is the defacto currency, e.g. Argentina)
In response to all the palemoongelists on here, I downloaded it recently to see what all the fuss was about. Couldn't see any restored functionality I would miss in Firefox 45.
So if there's some major UI regression with Australis, I ain't seeing it - I toggle with the menu/title/bookmarks bar settings but can't say I miss the status bar. But I'm not a heavy theme/add-on user, so may I don't appreciate what I've supposedly lost in transitioning away from XUL.
If New York is the pinnacle of high-rise, high density living then I was certainly under-whelmed by Manhattan's smelly, grimy subway system. It has nothing on, say, Madrid.
The Guardian has a story currently on a Los Angeles 'conspiracy'. But then I'm from Melbourne and we're very patriotic about our trams.:)
Windows Phone is suffering somewhat from the Osborne Effect. There have been rumours of a "surface phone" which may or may not materialise.
In the meantime, they only have flagships in Lumia 950/XL that support *fully* Windows Phone 10 and few are buying because they're as costly as an iPhone and no one wants to pay that.
If they do have a long term strategy they ought to be releasing low/medium models that run Continuum and bundled with a free Display Dock.
they always have the worst speakers available (think speakers from the reject box from the speak-n-spell factory)
Manufacturers can thus charge a premium for a "gaming" monitor.
Remember that desktops are purchased for cubicle drones who, if they are listening to stuff during work hours, should plug in a headset so as not to alert their boss/disturb co-workers.

Well a criticism of the latest Macbook is that people had to carry around a USB hub. Seems some prefer minimalist style over substance...
I'm not from the US; is that some sort of pizza topping?
Socialists? No, we were talking about anarcho-syndicalists.

Huh, maybe it's my university's poxy credentials then.
I tried the gmail app and it redirected to a login screen and then wouldn't authenticate. :( With the Outlook app I was up and running in 10 seconds.

I'd be looking at the fine print as far as taxation goes before parking any money there.

pressure + seawater + CO2 + hydrogen ==> NaCl + CH3CH2OH ?
Scientists just invented a foolproof method for creating moonshine. Yay, climate change!
Hardware accelerated, stutter free HTML5 1080 HD video now drives the market.
The majority of consumers couldn't care about the latest Vulkan/Direct3D/OGL support as long as their media doesn't choke.

(ok, it's in the header. expected to see it in the summary)
But here's the LINK
Free download for Vista and XP users.
So far they've only targeted Win 7 and 8 machines.
Neil Degrassi created that Canadian teen soap opera?
If there's no demand for styluses, why then did a competitor jump on the bandwagon with the Apple Pencil 16 years after they abandoned the Newton?
None of which we use for power. our only reactor is for creating medical isotopes or somesuch.
embedded - Arduino 101 is powered by an Intel Quark.
I run Mate on Debian - All the goodness of Mate but without the Ubuntu bloat!
Mangy Manx
Mozilla tried that and all the naysayers on here said Firefox OS was a bad idea, so they killed it.
I personally liked the OS...
