  2. Replaced MS Outlook with Thunderbird 0.6 on Mozilla Thunderbird 0.6 Released · · Score: 2, Interesting

Now I can have an email client with a cool spam filter which I can rely on and not having to resort to Spambayes (which is pretty good except it suck quite alot of CPU) because the spam filter built in Outlook is crap...

Thanks to Mozilla for releasing Thunderbird 0.6, bye bye Outlook!

  4. Singapore Broadband Prices on Broadband Pricing Across The World? · · Score: 1

In Singapore, the pricing for the 2 major broadband providers:

    • USD$33 for 1500/128 Cable
    • USD$45 for 3000/128 Cable
    • USD$34 for 256/256 DSL
    • USD$47 for 256/512 DSL

IMHO the prices for Cable is quite a good deal but they need to be more generous with the upstream! While the DSL pricing can be more competetive ;-)

I think trillian has done a job, I don't know why so many of you feel they are devil and other thirdparty IM is such angels, IMHO trillian is as good as the other IM, althought trillian does offer an paid version of software, they still do supply the free version to everyone. The might release the patch for the free version later but come to think of it again, if you were in their shoes which patch will you release first? To those who feed you or to those who suck up your bandwidth?
