Go out, get a few of 2 way (or better yet, 4 way) servers with 1+GB of ram and get them WebSphere Portal and a sys admin (hear you can get them cheap if you shop around) as a gift. Shouldn't cost more than $600,000 and if you act now, DB2 might be included.
Happy Thanksgiving
Actually the "Big" movie houses are strange bed fellows in this one. The bigger studios generally command more screen play and with all the movies coming out between now and the awards (now to be held in late Feb or early March), it leaves little play for the smaller films. Since they can't send out screeners, there's less of a chance that the movies get seen and potentially nominated for award(s).
Could be a good thing, or it might just be a way to generate press and a positive spin. One area where this "protection" might be useful is in the use of AOP [and any other patented technologies/processes]. IIRC, JBoss 4.x uses and supports the use of AOP, yet AOP is patented (patent granted mid year). So if AOP is your thing and you use it and for some reason the patent holders decide to come collecting, I guess you can give them JBoss' address.
So to help prove a defense if an alleged offender could prove that 9 or less people downloaded the material in question, would the case be moot?

Does that mean that MS is using its "security" forces to assault Linux? Well if those forces are the people responsible for the past few MS security patches then Linux better run up its while flag...we don't want them anywhere near Linux with their WMDs (Weapons of Mass Disfunction)
"The current Xbox is based on a Pentium 3 processor running at 800 MHz or less. One problem Microsoft has faced is the conversion of Xbox systems into personal computers. By buying a heavily subsidized $200 game machine from Microsoft, and then adding a pirated disk drive, the Xbox can be used as a "poor man's PC, turning a $200 game machine into a $600 personal computer, which Microsoft doesn't like at all," Doherty said.
That may have led Microsoft to the PowerPC platform developed by IBM. "
So people will be booting Yellow Dog instead on Mandrake (does that make a Yellow Dog Man-Drake's best friend?)
Perhaps Value was already running late, behind schedule, and over budget. They or some evil PHB come up with this source/game "leak" as an elaborate scheme to justify delaying the release of the game to some later time. Hey...it could happen...I mean look at California.

Nice SoM reference in the sig...just had to note that

Since it *owns* Linux, maybe SCO will pick up support for the RH family...of course you'll need to send in your $$$ before SCO will "activate" you.
I bet this story was found by someone at MS pressing the "I'm Feeling Lucky" search
Maybe if you go fast enough the cart voice will start sounding like when you talk into a fan.
No one wants to be under the command of General Protection Fault.
The article goes on to say"...politely declined the offer..." So I guess in this context tell her to "F off" would be considered polite.
